@botaflo@toot.aquilenet.fr Thanks, should have specified that I was looking for English speaking comedians (even though Italian and Spanish may have done too)... can't get a word in French!

@Vz01 preferably, but also Spanish or Italian may do. I couldn't grasp other languages unfortunately =(

come on, suggest me a you like!

A plus if you link me to something of his that you find particularly nice

@freemo It's a digital camera, I got a nikon 5300.

I know usually people use scanners, but I don't have one here and usually they are at lower quality than a shoot with a good camera. Also, dust may be a more felt problem there.

I've seen people doing some nice setup to take pictures, just wondering if there were fediverse tip about it

If everything else fails I'll just sneak in the office I used to work in on a Sunday and use their scanner, though =D

It's pretty hard to take pictures of photos, but I'd like to digitalize all my family albums using my reflex. They are especially hard to focus on.

Do the more experts photographers out there have any input on the best and most efficient way to do this?

@nHFvi0rBSRGHPJI8ahIo@skippers-bin.com Hey there!

@alex Uh, I was thinking in terms of people on the planet, not just in the US, but still I would have thought the numbers to be lower.

My bad, thanks for correcting me =)

@alex
Oh I don't think jews are 1/3 of the rich people, if that were the case it could be an odd coincidence, alright, but it still would legitimately raise some eyebrows.
I'm just saying that the graph you posted makes it seem like =)

Also, the amount of rich people on the planet I don't think is that little compared to the number of jews.

@alex uao, from your work seems like almost a third of all The Rich people are Jews, which is actually a correlation considering they are a really tiny fraction of the whole humanity (20 million over what, 8 billion?).

@Wetrix I mainly follow for the lady's photos at good night!

@mayor Hi, are you there playing? I've seen the video a while ago on youtube, so happy to follow you on the fediverse too.

A gentle note to our fellow QOTO users.

@freemo @design_RG

This was a very dense topic. I managed to read most of it, but I'm still having a hard time figuring out the core of the discussion,

I don't think we should invite users to not list posts. We could invite them to not public posts at a 3 seconds rate, but that's it.

Also, about STEM, I'm totally with freemo. I study in a scientific field, I am in a lab most of the week, but when I write here I don't feel like always talking about it.
I just like to know that the people in the instance are somewhat similar to me, as an approach to things, the sense of humor, the sensibility in general. That doesn't mean the ideas, the opinions, the alignment at all, but the approach we can use to talk about it. It's like the coffee machine outside of the lab.

Also I think that posts about etiquette should be shorter, I have a hard time going through all this messages =D

@Canageek@cybre.space I see, so you are basically catching up to some unwritten social rules that slipped through you, am I getting your goals right?

@Canageek@cybre.space

How is it going with your self improvement project? Care to tell me about it? We may be on a similar path atm
