Free books, read online. Many authors and genres.
Don't know how they do it, get away with it, but...
Found a website listing many, many books, including the one with the cover below, by Charles Bukowski.
https://bookfrom.net/charles-bukowski/
You CAN read the whole book online it seems, and they have many other authors. From trashy breathless romance novels to works we can be grateful to get access to. Android app for mobile if needed.
Rather cool. Librarian in me wants to spread the word. Hush, hush. DMCA is a thing.
They do have many of Cory Doctorow's books too, excellent sci-fi writer. https://bookfrom.net/cory-doctorow/
@Karthikdeva Ah, that sounds like a lot of good reasons. Do it. 😄
Rdio was really nice, their radio stations I still miss a lot. Spotify shows music on their default pages that has no relation at all with me.
But they do have a good library, amazing music, all there for your enjoyment. Times we live in!
I remember being so happy when some close friend would buy an LP of some group I was curious about. If you wwere lucky, maybe could loan it, or at least visit them and enjoy a session.
Music was played by albums, not tracks. Side A finished? maybe side B?
I still listen to music like that. And enjoy a moment in an artist's career.
@Sphinx Hope you managed to get some Zzzzzz.
Being on the screens for long before bed time is bad for that.
@ankur @_lunawinters
The way things look, I have a feeling you might wish to still be in 2018 during this coming year.
Expecting a lot of tension, maybe worse, with elections in US and all the polarization, armed citizenry, etc.
@Karthikdeva Never used Apple Music, have Spotify, ocassionally premium, sometimes just the free service.
I do miss Rdio, which I liked a lot and feel was better than Spot.
Why are you leaving AM? Just Curious.
@dalevross Well done, congratulations!

Hei Dale, it looks like you got it all right. Got three accounts already? 😉
Wow.. 😃
Welcome and enjoy ours, I think it's a rather cool place. The coffee pot is there on the corner. *points*

Not fair to talk about delicious food and no pictures. 😞

And the Obligatory picture, or it didn't happen.
@gmybird Hello IR, and welcome to Qoto.
Hope you enjoy your stay, if you have any questions just ask.
Have a good day...
@Craigvulcan Hello Craig, Peace be with you too. Have a good day!
@shibaprasad
Oh, just finished reading the two articles you linked to.
Truly makes one ashamed to be of the male gender. Creepy criminals, plotting and scheming, killing the young lady and trying to destroy her body.
And the guy posting with despicable arguments, on the second article you linked. OMG.
How stupid can people be. Always surprising.
Sorry for the doctor, may she rest in Peace, and for her family and friends, so sadly bereaved.
@susi123 You are very welcome, Susi.
Glad we have a place to meet and connect to new friends, here, online.
Regardless of us being on opposite sides of the planet, and many timezones away from each other, we are brought close.
Have a good day, friend. 😉
@susi123 I see, you found the quote above and liked it, posted it here.
He's an interesting character and writer. Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Bukowski
His own site: https://bukowski.net/
And some of his books can be read, for free, here: https://bookfrom.net/charles-bukowski/
WARNING - some of his content might shock you, possibly. Bohemian life, casual sex encounters, heavy drinking.
@Asishdavid Ooooh -- that one that leaded kids to commit suicide?
Geez. 😟
@Vishsai
That sounds good. 👍
Have you seen a doctor about this, Aaditi? It's hard on you to be suffering like that.
Very gorgeous Grey. #cats #mastocats #meow #xp #moa

@freemo I can relate to that. If I am buiding something, and it's off in some sense, that's what my eye will always lock on in the future.
Hard to have to look at it and see defects.
The Japanese have a philosophical concept about accepting imperfection which is quite interesting. (and they are meticulous about things like table setting and food presentation we westerners tend to gloss over).
@_lunawinters Sorry that you feel that way, Aaditi. You other threads posted this morning seem to indicate anxiety.
The sleep episodes, I have had these in the past. Focused Breathing helped. Slow and deep breath, hold for a fw secs, then release slowly and deeply. Pause and repeat.
I would soon drift off to sleep, could hear my heart beat reducing pace as I did this.
@freemo It is a small object and hard to control paint application. I think this looks very good, you are just zooming with the camera into very small detail our eye might not catch normally, me thinks.
Air brush would be nice for shade, but the size is sooo small!
@ravaadaar
Hello Mary and welcome. 😄
My little helper is Bing Translator, which indeed got the meaning of your beautiful script message. I had assumed Arabic. Persian it is.
Glad yo have you here! 😉
https://www.bing.com/translator is top notch - I have used it to write freely in a native language and then translate, manually polish and sending a nice letter to penpal friends, in their own native language.
