@lakshya_click Very nice fotos, Lakshya! Thank you for the post, and welcome to Qoto.

Hope you enjoy your stay here.

If you are new to using Mastodon, there's a good guide here: lifehacker.com/a-beginner-s-gu

Any question, just ask, and someone will try and help out.

Have a good day!

A nice set of guidelines and tips for new Users

I have just made a new Discourse Forum post here at Qoto.org, reproducing the full text of the "New Users Suggestions and Guidelines" as prepared by Rheal, the administrator at Mastodon.art.

The page is located here: discourse.qoto.org/t/suggestio

And I hope it will be used to all of our new users here at QOTO, as well as anyone interested.

Thank you to @Curator for the nice work and for running what seems a happy and prosperous instance! 🌇

@mngrif Chardonelle being?

Just opened a new bottle tonight for dinner. A cup with food is nice for savouring both wine and the food.

Spinelli, Montepulziano D'Abruzzo vines. Decent red table wine.

Por nada! I have been working on that experiment we discussed the other day, the dried herb mixed with olive oil. Left some out finely minced, let it air dry for a couple of days. Still not mixed with the olive oil, which I plan to lightly heat, to increase extraction.

Then degust and see results. 😋

@ppmanik They are mixed, not any particular breed. Some might have traces similar to these pure breeds, I had one that was a little stray when we adopted him, and looked a lot like a smaller sized Maine Coon.

A nice set of guidelines and tips for new Users

In that same thread, I came across a post by a user, saying they have made a Guide for Mastodon new users in Spanish.

Rare to have resources in languages other than English, so this is a useful resource too.

A post I just found, by the administrator of the Mastodon.art instance - @Curator

Keeping a pointer here to help, I am thinking of collecting these in a Discourse Forum post here at QOTO, with attribution and credit to the author.

Reason? Easier to read, in one page, than a sequence of toots.

There are some good suggestions from their users below. 👍

7 Signs someone is a Witch.

5 out of 7, here. 😝 :witch:

Retoot with comment, with thanks to @pwrmnstr

@realcaseyrollins Not a bad thought at all.

so, get off the Internet, and read. At least an hour. (any good book, better than the clamour of media wanting your attention)

Pound Sterling had its glory days, it was the International Reserve currency most people accumulated and borrowed. Not so valuable now as it was then, or widespread.

I think a currency not under the control of a single government would be better for all using it. Less manipulation, more stability.

Euro, for me.

@thegibson Don't like the place either. SF on the other hand, is nice. Getting expensive, but a pretty town to live in.

I thimnk you should see a doctor, then, if it's like that and for days. Plus in liquid form.

Get on it.

@surasanji

@surasanji @moonshine@freespeechextremist.com It's common, ask any pharmacist, many people will come and ask for a friend. They do know.

Nothing to be ashamed of, it's Physiology and Chemistry.

Hot sauce can be very harsh on sensitive tissues. It does not break down in digestion, at least not totally. (I am not strong in Biology).

@georgia

For most outside observers, me included, it's a rather Bizarre country.
