@mikelga I remember dreaming of hi-fi gear way back in my younger days; then working part time while in university, to buy piece by piece the parts to make a nice system.

And nowadays -- you can find stuff on the trash on garbage collection day, or donated to thrift stores. I have a few receivers here that are Vintage, Yamaha, Mitsubishi, but still couldn't pass a beautiful Technics from the 90's when I saw it in the store.

For less than 10 dollars. The cost of the parts, it's a heavy amp, would be hundreds in its days.

People are trowing out perfectly good hardware, or donating it to thrift stores. I bought a pair of Samsung LCD monitors, separately, both working and higher spec models. Just couldn't pass the opportunity.

Really NICE to find these 7 emails of new user applications -- that contained Answers to the Questions in our Registration page.

These, are only the ones I would approve (and other mods also, all of them already got it).

Many more blank, irrelevant information, I hit the Delete key and just kept going.

I consider this a positive result!

I think this is quite interesting. Hemp cultivation is much less restrict, and an easier to get source material in many harder jurisdictions.

I once found an external USB encl0sure for sale at a local thrift store. Could feel the weight of the drive inside, but no idea of size or if it would work at all. A good aluminum enclosure, so I took the risk.

Good more, as it is a 500 GB drive, and works well.

Came with the old owner's data -- and I was surprised to find folders containing photographs of his credit cards, front and back. Woot!!

The cards had expired, but still - lots of other folders, documents. I formatted the drive for reuse.

Same thing happened with a laptop, a nice looking HP Pavillion, also found at a thrift store.

Diane's laptop, as I found out, and I have a tool that allowed an easy reset of her admin password, for accessing the system. Shocking again.

It was running Vista, which surprised me by how pretty it looked and how snappy it was. I still have the laptop, Diane's date is long gone. Windows 8 runs well on it, win 10 I tried but the video drivers didn't match well, and no acceleration, so Win8.1 it is.

That is pretty neat, and CBD oil can be found more easily, less criminalized than the other one. AS a home based possible experiment, I am all for it.
