@freemo Post picture of race car, or it didn't happen. 😏 😉

@freemo Sometimes I am very embarassed by the crassness of some of my gender colleagues.

Men can be suck dicks, no pun intended.

That ironic/outraged reply was a good way to handle it, indeed. Imagine my lady friends having to receive these, unsolicited.

@Craigvulcan Sleep well, we here in other continents will carry on. 🌆

@cimo Welcome to Qoto, cimo.

Enjoy your stay, any questions please feel free to ask. 😺

@freemo That is chock full of information, but I learned Trig using the circle, drawing on blackboards and it made sense, never forgot.

Trig is wonderful when you give examples on how it can be used to measure things from far away, like mountain or obelisk heights for example.

@drabard Welcome drabard. 😺

Poor doggie. I like the bunker picture on your profile. Plus, cat inside. 😉

@_lunawinters Sometimes kids just like the shock factor - saying things that put people on edge.

He's youngm, and will move from that in time. Don't worry. 😉

@Aastha1801 Hello Aastha, and welcome to Qoto.

Enjoy the network and all it has to offer. If you are new to using Mastodon, there's a good guide here: lifehacker.com/a-beginner-s-gu

Any question, just ask, and someone will try and help out.

Have a good day!

@_lunawinters I should re-do the test, did it a while ago and some of the questions I was ambivalent about the rreplies - no particular one that stood out for me.

So the final result had some uncertainty on it. Will have to get around to it sometime. 😉

@freemo Z (unpronunceable name) made a good post with some details about building one of those. A co-worker of his went thru it. Good read.

Also posted image of his built unit: hackers.town/system/media_atta

It's a large image, so I will only post a reduced size here. Link above for full size.

@shibaprasad @Rovine Got a short reply from Alex to my Twitter post; he said he's still trying t ofind a way to fix the distribution problem.

@chikara The idea it should be there was from observations of small perturbations of the orbits of the nearest, much larger planets.

Very intricate work, as it required sharp observations and data collection, plus the analysis later.

@freemo Voted for Columbia too, like their gear that I have.

Seems it won the poll. You buying something, mng?

@mngrif

@iankenway This man is frightful. A younger version of the one sitting in the White House atm.

Have been so busy with the fediverse posts that my usual thogough reading news at The Guardian has fallen off the daily rituals.

Hope sense will prevail, it Conservatives get a majority in the Dec 12 election, they will rule and damage the country mercilessly.

*F'ing idiots, that they are*

@chikara Thank you for your post, I am honoured.

I did not know anything about Kintsugi, but the images you posted are wonderful.

The fix makes the object unique, in a way superior to the unbroken original. They remind me of the layers we sometimes can observe in rocks, and wonder how that happened.

Here, the randomness of the fracture lines, the gold colour which is not part of the original, but an important part of the repaired object. Very pretty.

Thank you also for the completeness of your post, linking to sources for further reading and discovery.

Well done! 👍

@binsrc LOL, awesome! Keep an eye for it, after Christmas new stock probably. Good luck!

@binsrc possibly safer to use if you plan to use it on a public wifi network. The watch is kind of attention grabbing. 😜

@freemo All the parts needed to build this keyboard, in one page. Some options regarding case desired.
