* Superb new Themes in a GlitchSocial instance *

Just finished the Blog post for today.

I made a quick draft at the Discourse Forum, linked in a previous post.

That was most of the writing, and I made new screenshots in dual sizes for the blog; 640 p wide for normal, and a click on version at 1200 p wide.

It's quite pretty, I think, and a tribute to a dedicated fellow Fediverse enthusiast, who puts many hours and currency every month to keep his instance online.

@freemo I am quite happy too -- the improvement in the Local feed is quite inspiring.

I loved seeing the posts by some of our newer but very active users -- quality and commenting on other colleagues posts as well.

That not only gives people a pat in the back, but reassurance that their work is appreciated. Important.

I owe to @Phaedrus a big encouragement to try and improve things -- he was the first person to mention and push for Make Qoto Great Again.

He is a Star, and I am happy he is here. Thanks, friend.

@hansw I come from a time when that was expected and polite behaviour, upon entering a new room, we greeted people discreetly, found a corner to stay and listed to the ongoing conversations.

Fitting in, it was important. And I still think that is a great way to approach joining any group, in real life or in internet communities.

My friends at Hackers.Town accepted my suggestion and implemented a group for their Book Club; much, much better than trying to conduct book reviews and discussions via hashtagged posts.

Honest, not trying to be Ironic -- most of the new applications are Reject outright since :

* there's zero input from their side.
* there's irrelevant small talk
* worse there's a sample of their intended Viagra advert stub, URLs and all.

Not kidding, so finding Human responses, with appropriate answers makes my day.
