jeudaism, Islam, and Christianity are just three denominations of the same religion. Yes you heard me.

@Co
I thonk its fair to say that both religion has different opinions about what god is like. But they are both attempting to describe the same god and agree on like 90% of his characteristics overall.

@MyriadTribulations
Ba'al doesnt mean god, it translates to "Lord" or "Owner".

But in sone respects it is besides the point, ot at least not the whole point. The more important part that demonstrates both religions worship the same god is that both religions are extentions of jeudaism and both religions use the jewish torah (the old testament) as part of their religious texts. So clearly its the same god if they both use the same texts which define the origin / creation of the world by the same entity.

@niclas
I think its just when you live in the sort of toxic social environment like the usa it will cause these sort of false positives.

A hallmark of autism is being oblivious to social cues. A common pattern in america is for people to dislike things someone does and instead of being an adult and talking it out they just bottle it up and secretly hate them. Then thry expect the other person to pick up on it like a mind reader and when thry dont its their fault rather than recognizing the immaturity about not talking about it. So now the other person, who deals with this constantly, starts to think they just suck at picking up social cues when really they are perfectly normal

@trinsec

I dont know who needs to hear this, but Allah is just the arabic word for god. Egyptians speak arabic, so Egyptian christians refer to god as allah. Likewise when most musslims talk about god in english thry refer to him as God not Allah.

This is important to emphasize the fallacy in people claiming that christians and musslims worship different gods, its the same god and the same core is at the center of both religions.

@RoboftheVolcano

I am aware of the dynamic with doctors and the harm, no argument on that point.

@Elfie @icedquinn

@trinsec
Well i never said autism doesnt exist at all. I only stated the vast majority of high functioning americans are likely misdiagnosed

@Elfie
What do trans people or the hormone therapy drugs have to do with autism?
@icedquinn @RoboftheVolcano

@RoboftheVolcano
Its unlikely to be the result of prescription drugs, if that were the case it would have been much easier to identify it as the cause.
@icedquinn

@RoboftheVolcano
We dont know enough about it to say if there isnt some environmental component. We do know there is a genetic aspect to many cases, but there are yet other cases with no apparent genetic factor. So who knows, maybe there is some "poison" at play.

That said i think many of the rise in cases is just the result of society becoming less mature in the way i mentioned in my OP and this causes more false diagnosis. Could also just be that awareness for the disorder is on the rise.
@icedquinn

@freemo I have a friend who is autistic, very pushful on religion but whatever keep him fine, he isn't non functional but just thinks jokes are too far and etc. What you are saying is a nicer way to put that.

@icedquinn
For hogh functioning autism i agree, its uselessly vague. But for people with real autism, particularly severe cases, i do think there is a lot of similarity and it does appear to my untrained eyes as a singular disease.
@RoboftheVolcano

@RoboftheVolcano
Do they? Im not sure if autism even has any meds for it does it?

I am still of the opinion that the vast majority of high functioning autism and people "on the spectrum" isnt autism at all, or any sort of mental disorder, at least in the USA. These are the normal and well adjusted people. It is americans that are hyperconfrontational and create drama out of nothing expecting others to guess at subtle hints rather than acting like a mature adult and being direct and communicative of their feelings.

What we really need is a disorder called HSSD (Hyper Sensitive Subtlty Disoorder) or something describing this behavior and the. Label the vast majority of americans as being mentally ill.

The thing that makes this so obvious to me is uf you take any of these people labeled as autistic who feel they cant read social cues and then stick them in a country with a relatively healthy (mentally) population they will function perfectly fine and appear completely normal.

@Pat @trinsec
Also keep in mind the eye adjusts to the color better than a camera. So it doesnt look quite as blue to the eye. At depth it feels more like a blueish-gray and as you go deeper it just feels like a darker gray with a blueish tint.

Another wonder 55 meter / 180 foot deco dive today. Dive profile for anyone who wants to check it out:

@Pat
Yup, the water is blue for the same reason the sky is blue and what gives blue eyes their color. None of these actually have blue pigment but instead it is the result of Rayleigh Scattering
