@tjemni I usually understand just enough words to get the jist of something. Then i wind up googling individual words and try to figure out the rest. Translators seem like cheating.
@tjemni As a resident of the netherlands who speaks limited dutch but wants to learn I appreciate all dutch posts :)
Decided to build another tandem match circuit based directional Coupler. This time I used a 21:1 winding ratio instead of the last one at 8:1.
It seems to have reduced unwanted coupling at lower frequencies. But more important it decreased insertion loss from about 1.15dB to only 0.03dB at 2 MHz and 0.4dB around 50MHz.
I think I prefer this particular winding ratio for my design.

@dantheclamman Exatly, just without the time travel :)

@0xKruzr You sir are a horrible person and should feel bad too!
@carlinmack lol at "as a person of kink". :)
"You nobles, you sons of my chiefs, you superfine dandies, you have trusted to your birth and your possessions and have set at naught my orders to your own advancement; you have neglected the pursuit of learning and you have given yourselves over to luxury and sport, to idleness and profitless pastimes. By the King of Heaven, I take no account of your noble birth and your fine looks, though others may admire you for them. Know this for certain, that unless you make up for your former sloth by vigourous study, you will never get any favour from me"

@cm I disagree. I dont think a country that has a small population (something that should be rewarded given the population crisis) should be penalized by having no weight in voting and thus at the whim of the ideals of more populace countries.
@cm Then you must find the EU very broken based on that same logic (votes are not based on the number of people in each country).
@MominRasool Partly. Thats the issue in every election though, the majority of people don't vote.
@MominRasool Its really only about half the population that didnt vote for him. Most people just hated hillary more than they hated him. Few people legitimately like him.
@cm I dunno as someone living in the netherlands it makes a lot of sense to me. And yes america does get that representation in other branches of the government. The idea of leveling the playing ground applies to all the branches, a great system in that regard.
@celesteh I figured me being native american made me a disadvantaged group pretty much anywhere. Glad you taught me about how much not disadvantaged i am for being american....
Probably best you shut up now before someone sees you making a fool of yourself.
@bigl0af I'm glad I already bought my AR-15 the last time they talked about a ban.
@khird Nah, i agree with that point. The original post was intended to have two effects 1) be humourous 2) let us realize that anytime we push for something to become criminal we are arguing for the use of violence and force to make someone follow your way of thinking.
I agreed however that arguing for something like guns to be criminal is no different than arguing for anything else to be criminal. I conceded that point the second you made it but for some odd reason you continued to argue in anyway.
@khird And your point in this whole conversation is.... Even if we assume your right, your argument doesnt change the original assertion, that if we make a law that will be enforced by threat of death we should be fully aware of that and not gloss over it.
The fact that you've spent this much time arguing over a very obvious point, something most people would obviously accept out of hand just shows me your arguing more over the fact that you just argue about anything related to guns than to actually address the point at hand.
While I have no love for Trump, and will be quick to admit he is the worst president we ever had, the truth is, the electoral college is important. The main issues with it that I have personally are the changes that were made to laws around how the electorate can choose to vote. But the fundamental principle of the electoral college was a positive one in its original form.
