I hate american liberals, I agree they are usually worse than conservatives, at least in the real world. Their ideals on paper arent too bad (though i think misdirected)... but in person they just act like the extreme right does but worse.

@Jojothegoodperson neo-liberal is usually what people mean when they say liberal. classical liberals are people who beleive in minimal government intervention (also called libertarian)

But keep in mind I'm a world traveler. The liberals in other countries are much nicer to talk to.

@Jojothegoodperson I dont mind M.S in terms of their users, they are ok enough users. I also dont mind gargron, he is ok enough... but I dont like being a user on the server as they are a bit too quick to ban people for silly things.

Yea I started on Mastodon.social and a few other alts I had early on. Then after a few months I started QOTO.

So in a conversation that was relevant I went to check how long I've been int he Fedi. Turns out I've been here for 4 years so far and QOTO is about 3.5 years old. Its been a long run.

I wonder how long the fediverse has been around overall.

I love new novel tech so I very well might enjoy it just for that reason. Just so far im not hearing anything that wows me is all. This could be due to lack of reading up on future or present ideas. Either way I wish the project luck and hope it will do something to entice me at some point.

You very well may be right. I only gave it a very quick glance and looked at some example exchanges. I'm not sure if its providing any value for me personally but I could be wrong.

@khird that i dont know, it is from a second hand source that got it from a paper that i couldnt find. I only recognized it as consistent with a paper I saw some years back where I learned that white in the arctic improved heat retention. I am having trouble finding the actual paper.

@khird I managed to find a chart to sorta prove my point. It compares white with gray but you can extrapolate to understand white would be even better than gray.

Notice that at cold temperatures lighter colors present less radiative loss than darker. This is outside temp not inside.

Just tell people you got vaccinated in Egypt when you were staying there. There is no record to verify you were vaccinated and it would be dangerous for you to get double vaccinated just to get a card.
