I see you missed the part where i pointed out youd have to compare thr netherlands to itself after a law change and if you try to compare it against the usa youd be engaging in a fallacy as we cant adjust for confoubding in that case so you get nonsense numbers.

@stux The people who praise replacing one gun death with 10 knife deaths by making guns illegal are the same people who never stood up to people doing evil who were capable and willing to kill you.

When you are the one people are trying to kill your opinion on guns changes real quick. I certainly never bothered owning a gun before then. Now I open-carry with a license.

Not sure how you are confused.. when you make something illegal that is used to save your life when someone is trying to kill you with a knife, it isnt a win that you eliminated gun deaths and replaced them with being killed by other means.

Much as when making vaccines illegal you effectively will eliminate all deaths via vaccine, but now replace those deaths with even more deaths from the virus itself.

Same thing, not sure why that concept would confuse you.

inb4 be sure if you use numbers you compare netherlands to itself both before and after a change. Any other comparison would be dishonest due to confounding.

I mean of course you do, that doesnt make it a win anymore than eliminating vaccines would be a win.

Right now there are a million problems.. my goal has always been to get this fix out, it fixes a million things, and then see what problems, if any, we have left.

Luckily with a paid team of like 15 people or something now we will start to see things accelerate in no time.

After some preliminary poking around it seems to be working except the CSP problem we had didnt get into it.. luckily that should be a one line fix so shouldnt be a huge roadblock. Only I cant imagine the DB would need to be redone over that fix either so we should be able to have it working in beta soon and if all else checks out we are golden!

All of you will be happy to know I just got word the QOTO big update that we have all been waiting on (5 versions in a row) that we have been struggling with just succeeded in our beta environment. I havent fully tested it but its up and error free at first glance according to our system admin!

After a little poking around if everything looks sane we should have it applied to the main production environment very soon!

Actually in terms of voice and video im generally less likely to engage. Its of course nothing personal, I just find those mediums require more of my bandwidth which is already stretched painfully thin.

Agreed, ive bought a lot of cheap pants and spent more per wearing on them then i ever did on the expensive ones.

@AlphaKiloPapa honestly i find shirts, even cheap ones, tend to stand up for a while as they dont tend to get much abuse.. its the pants that need to be solid to last.
