Hi Dr. @freemo thanks for the warm welcome! This instance looks like a great place to start my Mastodon journey from. A little #introduction about myself. I'm a software developer and business owner based in Pretoria, South Africa. I started a company, Robot Dwarf with a friend of mine 8 years ago and its been the most incredible experience with plenty of ups and downs as businesses always are. I studied Multimedia at the University of Pretoria and really fell in love with programming and programming languages and how it comes down to syntax and semantics. Also love Interaction design and UX and the research that has gone into that. When I'm not programming or writing long intros without paragraphs, I watch movies, hang out with friends & family, play keyboard and guitar, watch my wife game and occasionally eat and sleep as well. I have interests in history, and the future, land, sea and space. Its great to be here and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. Whew, I thinks that's it for now!

Really interesting to see how much signifcance Campbell assigns to dream analysis in the hero with a thousand faces (because of Jung, Freud) before contemporary psychologicists said it was basically all meaningless.

Wonder what his take would be on it now.

@freemo due to increasing censorship appliedin twitter spain, specially about catalan aspirations for independance, I highly suggest that you promote this tool amongst catalan region users.👊

@James I had not considered that and I'm honestly not all that sure what is going on with spanish censorship right now. Perhaps you should make a public post bringing us all up to speed on whats happening?

@freemo long story short: catalunya is a state whithin the Spanish borders that tired of being expoiled and abused by the central government in Madrid promoted a referendum of separation and independance on Oct 1st 2017. More than 2.5 M people out of 4.5M total voters responded the call beside the brutal repression of state military forces that tried to to impede the referendum. Images of old people and innocent women beaten up at votint site shocked the entire world, astonished aboutthis behaviour from a so called democratic nation member of European union. Beside all sort of punishment and persecution of elected members of the local government of catalunya including jail without trial and forced exile of the president Carles Puigdemont, the population still resist with millions of people manifesting on the street from time to time and huge activity on twitter where self organized Commitees of Defense of the Republic (CDR) spread the news and pacific guerrila type actions to confront the authoritarian regime backing a corrupted royal family who was put in place by the late dictator FRANCO. But twitter is progressively shutting down these channels and irony of fate it has been aired that General manager of TW in Spain is linled to the family of the former fascist dictatorship. In other words Qoto could gain a lot of support from nearly 1M followers ( this is the amount of catalans which has joined telegram in the last 7 months) if publicized properly.
