@freemo I have been using for a couple of months now. I am more interested in contributing with micropayments to sites and services I enjoy, than in blocking ads better ( usually does a good enough job for me). I'm also following $BAT and hodling a bit.
Let us know your impressions!

I think I am about to officially more from Chrome browser to Brave browser.

Whenever my ad block software didnt cut it for some reason I tried the same page in Brave and every single time it seems to have managed to block the ads. It even blocks the popups that say "please disable your ad blocker" as well as the paywall on a lot of news sites. Not sure why but Brave is the only solution I've seen that is this effective. It is more than enough to convince me to make the switch.

Man I gorged myself on sushi. Luckily only the relatively healthy stuff, none of the fried ones, but man I'm stuffed to the gills. Feels good though, overeating on super healthy food is a good compromise once in a while.

I hope whoever wrote the script for the Highlander 2 movie is ashamed of himself.

I agree with everything on this chart.. People tend to have the risks of an "AI war" in the future all backwards...

Fuck non-gmo food, I want someone to make a piece of broccoli they genetically modified into a cow. I'm 100% on the GMO bandwagon.. also I want my bread to be double gluten.

Waiter: "That dish is ground bison on top of pasta, with a red sauce."

Me: "Does the existence of ground bison imply there is some sort of air bison as well? Are the air and ground bisons mortal enemies? Do you have any dishes with air bison?"

Waiter: ::puzzled look::

Hey Hey community, I'm new here, any recommandations for people who share/talk about Linux ?

When you hear the word "graph" what do you think of?

Looking over the history of my old Ethereum wallet... back in january of 2017 it had 186 ETH tokens in it (this wasnt my largest wallet i had a bigger one at the time mind you)... I had cashed it out then for about 2,000 USD, I thought i was just cleaning up an old wallet (my main wallet at the time had 10x that much at least)... anyway that 2,000USD I cashed out for, if I would have held that ethereum I would have nearly 400,000$ today... man that stings!

FUCK YEA! I mentioned a few days ago I had found 10,000$ out of nowhere... it was on a Ethereum hardware wallet from years ago and it was so old it was impossible to transfer the money out of it. I spent days trying to hack it and reverse engineer the protocol (and in that time it got closer to 12,000$)... and just now I cracked it and transferred it to my current wallet!

Boooo yaaaa free 12,000$ aint bad for a few days work.

@freemo Here's my easter spider! She does funny poses like this a lot :blob3c:

Just a reminder to in the USA... You are supporting the party that fought for slavery and even after loosing the civil war enacted the Jim Crow laws and supported segregation for decades...

Now years later you have elected the first president in modern history who started his career on the platform of resisting desegregation efforts and doing everything in his power to keep schools segregated. In Biden's own words he didnt want to see the schools turn into "a racial jungle"

Might want to rethink your life choices and if you are really on the side of good...

Rms

@anonymoose

I know that was tongue in cheek but there is some truth to that....

There is a **huge** difference between considering ideas in private, and making a public statement about your stance.

If what we care about is truly harm, and our goal is not thought policing, then this distinction is paramount.

@geotechland

Rms

@geotechland @freemo

>That can be hurtful to the victim and could make other victims of sex trafficking more reluctant to come out due to fear of being doubted.

Under this theory of harm, it seems that the person who leaked the emails, rather than rms is the one who should apologize before being allowed back in polite society. If I’m understanding correctly, rms said his private thought in the context of a private email conversation, and the leaker, by making them public, introduced all of the alleged harms to the person rms was discussing, as well as trafficking victims at large.

How sociopathic would someone have to be to cause all of that harm as mere collateral damage to out rms as a no-no thoughts thinker?
