Even if my vote is a protest vote (which it isn't), I still have a right to cast it.

My vote WILL count toward the candidate I'm voting for.

It doesn't not count against your candidate.

It doesn't count toward a candidate you don't like or I didn't vote for.

So, please, for the last time...

Sit your whole ass down with this 3rd party voting bullshit!

Stay mad that I won't vote for genocide, capitalism, imperialism, and racism!

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk!

How often does a day go by where the oldest person in the world dies on that day?

The biggest lie the democrats (and republicans) convinced the world of is that you should vote for them, even if they are evil, because they might win.

Interesting fact of the day: Most bee larvae, including honey bees, don't and can't poop until right before they spin their cocoon. Basically the upper and lower part of their intestine are seperate and there is no where for the poop to go. Right before they form their cocoon their intestinal tract connected, they poop their first and only poop as a larvae then spin their cocoon.

The reason for this is because all the food the larvae will eat is in the cell with them. As such if they were to poop it would contaminate the food. So by only pooping once, after the food is all eaten, it keeps the food safe and clean.

Yes, there is (we can define and measure) (the magnitude of) _acceleration_ _of a specific participant_, _at some particular event_, as the radius of cuvature of _the_ time-like worldline traced by that participant; by means of a Cayley-Menger determinant as expression of Heron's fomula term; cmp. mathstodon.xyz/@MisterRelativi

However:
There also is (we can also define and measure) "radar acceleration", arxiv.org/abs/0708.0170 for instance, i.e. _of one specific participant_, _at some particular event_, _in reference to some other participant_.

motion!, i.e. having a choice of different reference systems; with members of distinct ref. systems generally not remaining pairwise in coincidence wrt. each other, nor (pairwise) at rest wrt. each other.

p.s.

Please discuss this statement for the case of

- a regulation size American football field (presumably strictly 120 yards long, with two goals standing at rest wrt. each other this exact distance apart on the two endlines)

- and a row of cars, driving along a sideline at constant speed \(\beta ~ c\) ...

> * There is no absolute time

Please discuss this statement for the case of muons (which -- pretty much always, so far -- were found to have mean life duration \(\overline{\tau_{\mu }}\) of about 2.2 micro seconds ...

I can not beleive it is not butter! Now contraction free.

We are officially announcing it. As of August 24, 2024 me and Noi are engaged.

Einstein proved (w/ relativity):

* There is no absolute distance
* There is no absolute time
* There is no absolute velocity including "at rest"
* There is no absolute mass

However there is absolute acceleration (which is key to General Relativity). But what is cool is how it also shows even the fundamental forces arent absolute. A magnetic field arrises from an electric field due to relativity and vice versa. Very little is absolute but some things are, so cool...

There is a beauty behind the way the world balances itself out. During world war 2 the Nazi's hated, killed, and abused everything Jewish. In the process of this they drove Einstein, a Jew, out of his home country and over the course of the war changed Einstein's views from one of strong passifisim to one of active war against the Nazi. In the end Einstein developed the fundamental mechanics with which to create a nuclear bomb and even convinced president Roosevelt to develop and use them. This turned the tide of the war and destroyed the Third Reich. The direct hatred of the nazi's gave birth to the very thing that destroyed them. This is real karma. Not some mystical score board where god will shoot you down with lightening if your being bad. It is far more tangible than that.

I wonder what you think about:
- if the victim is not breathing and there's a spare helper available, send them off to find an AED,
- if the victim fell from a nontrivial height, impacted into something headfirst or backfirst (or you suspect that in face of lack of witnesses) do not move them unless they aren't breathing/are unable to breathe and tell them not to get up if conscious, but do not try to restrain them,
- if the victim is unconscious in an ~enclosed space, esp. under ground level, with no obvious reason for the unconsciousness and there is no well person in the space space, be extremely wary of entering it (or just don't).

As a certified first responded... Some tips about being a first responded in an emergency situation (like choking, heart attack, etc).

1. Defer to any experts. Ask if anyone is a doctor, if not ask if anyone is a first responded, only if there are neither should you step up and try to help.
2. Immediately call 911, it never hurts, worst case it isnt needed.
3. If you are the one responding to the emergency dont call 911 yourself, nor should you simply say "someone call 911". You need to handle the emergency so explicitly tell someone nearby to call 911, when you dont specifically nominate someone usually everyone thinks someone else called and no one calls.
4. Check for consciousness and relay this to the 911 caller. If conscious and doesnt require immediate intervention of 911 hasnt yet given you instructions use that time to gather basic info about what happened and what their symptoms are.
5. If they are unconscious follow 911s instructions, if you for any reason cant get a hold of 911 begin the ABC's, check (A)irways for blockage by the tongue which may roll back and block breathing, (B) check if they are breathing despite no obstructions, (C) if you know how check for a heart beat to confirm blood is circulating.
6. If you dont get a heart beat, or you dont know how and the person isnt breathing, perform CPR. I highly recommend anyone not familiar watch a video
7. If you cant get a hold of 911 and the person has clear signs of swelling tongue and cant breath due to swelling use a EpiPen if available. Only do this if the person is conscious or if 911 instructs you to.

One of the biggest life lessons I learned.... motivation never comes first. Action leads to motivation, not the other way around.

@freemo,
THANKS for the clarification in what sense qoto.org is a safe space.
I found it necessary to ask for
—and get—
your idea what constitutes sense of moderation in such matters as
@baldengineer @48kRAM

The company I founded has now officially reached 16 full-time employees and 21 people if you count our Board of Directors and Board of Advisors. With about 3 or 4 more hires in the queue and more to come.

So exciting
