@freemo @bonifartius Yeah, a lot of the time the “eat no preprocessed food” idea boils down to a quasi-religious belief in things being “unnatural”, which I’ve always found funny, seems to stem from the whole “human created as separate from animal/nature” bullshit. But there are some, some legitimate concerns, and salt is the big one, agreed.
My first thought was "doesnt that mean they need to raise wages until people who dont want to do the job do it?"
Don't get me wrong I'm pro immigration and all. But the logic here doesnt fit

imho, what is healthy regarding to food can be completely different from person to person as long as you get everything that your body needs. not eating preprocessed stuff is nearly always good though.
hot take: ultraprocessed vegan food from around the globe is probably morally worse than locally sourced free-range meat. "think global buy local" :P
This is really interesting. They colorized a photo by overlaying some lines in a grid and ONLY adding color to the lines but over-saturating the color. The rest of the image is black and white.
The result is that at a distance or in the thumbnail it just looks like an ordinary color photo. It is only when you look up close you notice what is going on.
After being up for only about a week QOTO's main matrix chat room (the lobby) is approaching 100 users (including guests). Really happy I brought up the service, I've enjoyed all the chats.

@freemo chuckle So true… I’m a vegetarian and I am terribly annoyed by all the people who go all “oh, I try to eat healthy, too”. That isn’t my reason, and, given that I manage to be quite fat, it isn’t a particularly good reason in the first place 😛
