The problem with this is it looks like that number doesn't take into account the 'solar constant' which has been changing since 1978, when we started to really study that number. THAT number has been FALLING, which would drive massive global cooling. So, unless the human factors are WAY more than measured, that claim is highly doubtful.

@freemo @weezmgk , watching this stuff makes me excited. And there is so much out there in the world to watch. Not just this, but new tech, ants, art.... everything. Even the new heat wave is exciting....

There was a Star Trek episode where Spock hears the last dying thoughts of 1000 vulcans... and they all thought "Fascinating". Ya, this is just sunspots, and might cause static in a Hulu download, but it is all fascinating. I hope that is my last thought.

Busy night on the air weapons range - tracer fire from a helicopter, probably a Wildcat. The regular dots are the navigation lights on the helicopter as it circles, the streaks are the tracer fire and ricochets from the ground (target is a dummy compound made from shipping containers).

Thank you. As a general rule, I dislike guns. The brandishing seems more to do with penis extension by people who are not bothering with training and clearly have a lack of respect for a lethal device. I particularly strongly dislike where it is a badge of intimidation.

There are people in a position where they do need them, they do get training, and they respect the lethality of the weapon. On behalf of you and others where a gun isn't a toy or magic dildo, I respect and do want you to have access. I'm not afraid of guns, but I have a healthy fear of freaking morons.
