Geocities was very popular place for websites in late 1994 with ample space for a website 2MB !

Actually very doable in some sense (or we made do) and shows how smaller scale works even if we wanted to add all the media in the world as it is now... we did personally what we could deal with (and not chew up the worlds energy and hardware to level now at the expense of land, water for heat cooling and other things geologically connected).

Discontinuing it disappeared in late 2009... so this was the story of someone copy the data and making of Reocities.com / Geocities.RestorativLand.org/

If all governments are #war makers (some better than others)
and that includes internal oppression in controlling local people so we need to find a way to keep control but not have these bad relationships right down the line.

Because eventually it comes to this (see picture).... People just use their power to get what they want when there is other ways (co-operation / sharing / true happiness in work).

We need to come out of these bad relationships and talk to each other more often to find a robust and meaningful way...

I would like to see this VOTING + CONTACTING idea so those who voted can be reachable.

Could have option to turn off (as a default and people could turn on if they welcome contact)

'Transparent voting' option let's call it in #Mastodon for people to be able to get in touch after #polls are finished.

Bank of Ideas was an occupied building of the empty UBS bank offices.

I like the name for a start taking the 'Bank' concept and making into being a 'Bank of Ideas'. I remember hearing that and think WOW a good kind of mentality or good way to turn things in just the name.

Humanises it and works toward better things than banks (which are debt based economies)

ABOUT PICTURE & moderating discussions

Picture attached is interesting for the diagram and theory of discussion and group work technique.... though personally I think you have to make sure everyone knows how and when to use it and pretty pro at it otherwise it becomes a muddle with the pro's and non-pro's... so frustration and points could be just taken with 'another' technique if not used right...

My answer is a pause in between each main point or speaker unless people are good with this toolset picture (which can work)...

Overall making something universally accessible and clarifying as you go along is cool by me. To take points and notes WITH soft/hard moderator alongside who guides and enforces it well (like moves things to the end or deals with it now, calculates the flow and remembers where everyone is in flow).

Whichever way you go the system picks it up everything very quickly and will eventually co-opt/ adapt / exploit it if it's worth doing for money.

So I think the love inside (for yourself and others) is consistently the difficult thing to hijack and hard exploit by others because it is not a primary interest to regulate and make money out of #love - and therefore less exploitable or less interesting to exploit.

So in terms of 'winning' together or #occupy style love we can appreciate EACH OTHER much more than a system full of EXPLOITERS who will get less from our efforts (the givers and lovers of the world) because a lot is unusable to them or already given :)

Digital systems we see are working against us FA$TER in it's realm of #physics.

Giving analog love is harder to attach %'s and digital numbers to everything - so it's not the same system or dissimilar enough to break stay out of narrow-minded thinking.

#Matrix calculations (matrices) needs number format
and add computers
= computing matrix power which IS ALWAYS going to be faster than us in real life

To avoid this narrow-minded devaluation of thinking about life is what makes sense, and also fuels less such cold ignorant mechanisms.

#Love is a different realm / material to the digital way of control and taking things over...

MY COMMENT about TYPICAL ' safety measure ' EXCUSES'

I always had a problem with ' safety excuses ' (this is said and used everywhere to do things that are VERY QUESTION and OFTEN just a cover for doing bad things...
It's maybe a brain this where one side of the brain thinks 'safety' and the other thing 'maybe they are lying'... and because the information often is non-accessible (not transparent) people are forced into calling people liars OR thinking there is really some safety issue and not excuse to do something under the people's radar.

The left and right brain perhaps get confused and without proper communication or trust (with government or it's paid sub-units) then it's hard to combat BUT DOES NEED SOMETHING more by suspicious employees or public. Otherwise SURELY (100% in my opinion) THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE AND MESS WITH THINGS OFTEN- as often as possible from reaction and if people aren't too busy with their own life/job.

People get confused about the 'safety' reasoning when it's really mostly a cover-up and just said to get themselves in places they couldn't (#squatting see this a lot where it's safe for year but to force entry they say it under 'safety measure' ) to give them enough time to get in and do the same shit they always do. So people thinking about it, think too long and don't organise to get the truth first. Authority just steam-rollers in and holds some 'safety' rules as their cover - so this needs to be blocked or slowed down because it's too fast and easy for them just to say "because of safety I can do anything and these are my list of ultimatums".

I recommend it for similar topics titles you currently into so you don't go crazy, more sub-points:

- sometimes broad topics can catch the eye a a bit too much (needs training)

So as distraction (can ignore) or as current interest interest / curiosity can have a look.

Following HN you get 10 posts every day but it's all in a row so if I'm not in the mood for HN I just skip the whole 10 in my feed seeing it clearly by it's HN icon with a few page scrolls to my next things in timeline, maybe comes back to it later.

You can also mute for a while (as all posts give option for x days/weeks

Read the post titles until you get a topic you really like when you're in the mood - but don't feel too attached just cruse until satisfied!

One thing I didn't see much of is planting or seeds but I guess it's mostly not tech - but if you see a planting / seed related post then let me know!

- i remember really wise people's replies or their logic in reply (both yin and yang needed to spin intelligence! So just remember to put a cap on being offended and learn what the balance was or the gem at the end)

People don't realise mistakes NEED to happen with eyes and ears more open to feedback etc... that's part of the game to make things better. Not this distanced and disconnection stuff...

So in order to learn you need to almost do the opposite and stick around, half-listen a bit more, catch the super important parts that TLDR misses.

(because neither you, me, or situations are ideal or perfect- so what do you expect... and if you expect that say so!). Together we learn AND teach others... that's what I see as working overall - not dismissing everything or only specialising your own little corner.

Even in 100% trust people go for different things naturally from different priority and choice so this all harmonises that and the after-event conversations are really important especially in hindsight so everyone or a small group can see what they could do better next time and what the reality of *feelings* were at the time because it's *always* more a different feeling than at first look. *Always* and naturally with time and feelings coming and going.

This is what the 99% could do do better to train:

TRUST as defence,
TRUST as less fear
TRUST as more justice between the folk
TRUST as social glue
TRUST as self-confidence etc

But it does need you to start AND finish to get the best from this circle... The start is maybe easy but end needs planned time too... to see what grows from that... which is usually more trust, compassion, understanding if not all this then experience and practising humanity (which we all have to do but this is a more intelligent and logical and emotionally expressive way).

So TRUST and go through all the circles - you'll be better for it...
