#job advert on #Mastodon - "Dedicated match-maker"
I need someone to put each other in touch with other people!
Not just directly about the same thing (we do that also) but really scooping people who have time and using them because they interested in learning the same things or some group / satellite stuff. Something like that! (this is not really a #jobs post but I am serious!
More active meetings.
Something less one way and not text.
Feels like that's a good idea...

1 - Add "SHOW MORE" Button (similar to the CW as we have it now)

I write behind the CW title which I know hurts me (other instances don't see pictures) but I hope Mastodon peeps make a basic 'show more' button without the CW status to simply shorten posts / show a title without implying any bad content.

2- Also would be cool if #Mastodon could choose the 'toots and replies' or 'Media' as default tab on my profile page (currently default is 'toots') because the 'toots' I often reply or get inspired from others (triggered let's say!) and use reply to merge what interesting pic i have to depict such scenario or text I was preparing anyway and insert it warmly into others similar topic when it's really relevant or good enough as picture or text...

My recent text has made it a lot more boring but if you can choose well you can actually get some gems right now!

Experienced people probably know that you click 'toots and replies' for people usually to show better the person (it's not just their boosts etc but their replies showing more of them)... Peace!

So learning but possibly faster when transferring to posts and posting measurably rather than detail nobody will see.... LIKE THIS TEXT PERHAPS

Though MASTODON'S experience I think it's possible for people to find each other (which also I shouldn't overrate) and simply to go for what creates more long-lasting human-real reality as longer-lasting containers themself.

What do you think about filtering #Mastodon users by their cities / locality in the interface? (much like Geocities had?)
(and having it optional as visibility via checkbox option)

I can see clear uses +/- (and both at the same time)... but also highlights for me ---> "How to defend use-cases when a tool allows both good / bad usage"

So in this case locality-based interface it could be
--> (positive) for sharing and finding people instantly
--> (negative) for ****ing and finding people instantly !!! <---

I think that applies to ANY of our advanced tools!!!!

I would like to see this VOTING + CONTACTING idea so those who voted can be reachable.

Could have option to turn off (as a default and people could turn on if they welcome contact)

'Transparent voting' option let's call it in #Mastodon for people to be able to get in touch after #polls are finished.

This allows individuals to continue doing together from poll's pooling ability and relativity.
A way of peer-to-peer by allowing seeing of potential people or existing projects to contact.

Could be perishable (like after a week.

Practical idea no? I made a technical picture to show how showing how voting and finding relativity could work in real life!

Not good.
MEASURABLY not good.

By not clicking you are also keeping in line who you really support... so there is 2 things mainly:

1. Free Software etc ok
2. minimising the other stuff

Linking and Click-baiting others is supporting THEM more than what needs your support.
