(nobody likes the idea of this especially using 'Free' software bubbles but WE MUST do it for our own sakes and causes to stay in touch / stay alive / keep each other in contact the *good version* or 'better business' type model of ADVERT which is to *ATTRACT* inside a that more-free style constantly and what I think gets better of improved as we go and as we get more mutual and aligned

(e.g. we don't need to pay for server space or internet connections individually - we can share locally or remotely and then the others gives what they already have - pooling it all)

And even "Time" is a usable resource and very under-estimated with people on Fediverse.

SUMMARY
We must use all in the eco-system if we are to break through the concrete Crapitalism... and ALSO BUILD OUR OWN TO CROSS THAT THRESHOLD... build slowly by surely... anytime from NOW! And make from old... to new...

Your data on is stuck (on Mastodon or other ActivityPub platforms also, ask your admin!) because the export format of your backup is NOT a human readable format and no pictures show with it!

(i.e. your backup is almost everything on one long line of code, in JSON format, and post text is all mixed together) AND currently there is **NO OFFICIAL WAY** to import your data and put post TEXT BACK WITH THE PICTURES in something like it's original form!!!!

It's amazingly not yet possible officially to import/move a whole account of posts BUT you can copy to a solo instance or manually replace OUTBOX.JSON into a new account (I think with some fiddling) or export somewhere?... so before I say more do you follow me so far on general notion of keeping my posts somehow and general topic in question? Can you convert JSON (Mastodon export backup of posts) into something more presentable?

⚠ #Mastodon⚠️ cannot export posts to another instance so I can't see my posts if I quit my current instance.

Your post backup is a JSON file but not a human presentable format ( I'm looking for automated way to make it look more like it's original form! ).

Anyone interested in making HTML files (pic + text) for each post? It would have to deal with CW / Read more also.

PREDICTION - Mastodon will be replaced / much less used in 2 years IF something else does these things below, because currently...

█ we can't move our post backups/exports to another instance
(we can backup to JSON only - NOBODY HAS CONVERTED JSON TO SOMETHING BETTER and WITH THE PICTURES output together, not separate)

█ developers don't educate users to avoid using google youtube links and use various Invidious filters or better links (we are haemorrhage a ton of data from our instances / give ads etc) all because we don't mind leaking links or fail to educate the basics

Platforms need to actively filter links AND at push to educate its users and train them not to leak data and usage from platform...

(Invidious filters YouTube for example and many Browser extensions could be listed).

One main reason why Mastodon exists is not to leak things.

Developers and users using google and it's links are leaking and letting Google in to their platform... even simply using YouTube links etc to track them.

Extracting from our bodies towards bigger profits and pocketing it all is war - don't overlook this while people are starving or can't pay heating bills because they have monopoly.

You could also say it's not killing BUT SIPHONING OUR DATA / EATING US ALIVE, 'maximising profits'.

Currently the problem is that I'm stuck about my audience being unable to read or give time to what needs time and slowly thinking about constantly in the brain or in another words:

1● People are unable / can't / don't want to read long parts of Humanism which ultimately underpins life

2● Only want life in short sentences which is dangerously always ignoring or misunderstanding people and life since again people, feelings, communication is not possible or healthy in SMS style messages (like if you were typing in an old phone,. Short Messages System is not enough for life and warming people / uniting people.

So I need some way in between as currently it's like 1 or 0 (or 1 or 2) thinking it's ok for everything in short... is misunderstanding humans not good and only good towards fascism from everything underneath being aesthetically "oh this looks-good and simple" style.

I guess on 1 basic level I just want to make friends and think that is the way to solve thigns better. To heal / balance many things at the same time as everything else, eventually and all with more love if not more healthy and progressive wonder.

To possibly make friends with most of the world (I know all isn't really possible) but most of our interactions assuming and leading to friendship I think is good enough.

So my 'wall of text' here might be the first test to the longer version of myself. It reflects my dedication and human experience that confirms that depth should be OK even 1 step at a time (like a spiral staircase for others to read), so just start anywhere and learn to love what you can (and climb!).

If you think life / Fediverse is just 1 feel-good one-liner or short thing, and not climbing TOGETHER more often, then your cheating yourself and others in life.
This would be ok 'normally' BUT quicker than before it comes back to you if it's without caring in others.

If not now, then when?

What do I do?

I give people time and I think that's the basic difference (without list of other stuff deeper than that) to others who really don't have or give time and give up on people really easy... (don't mean to be competitive, no put-downs, just I more dedicate time to others and weave us together).

I help people create audio / edit educational audio / podcast / music / visual short videos / transcript text

+ I like to add a bit humour while being quite strict in my own politics (opinions) but open / inviting for others to tell me what I should do if they can explain more than just a short comment (I don't mind it's healthy for me at least if you have logic and can stand yourself explaining).
