War Games (PC + Reality) = Humanity ?

@ayoub Would it be mostly right to say all

countries and places were / are built on violence?

That was my main thought... hope the other notes doesn't

distract or detract....

And violence is perhaps just a part of nature?

So wouldn't people just be throwing stones, spears or

rocks and fists anyway regardless of tech level ?

only a bigger power or punishment stops us?

(i.e. we humans are a lot about war, so even peace now is

based on the war that is separating us (and we all don't

see economically as war)?

Otherwise many (not all) would be bickering with

neighbours (next door and as leaders doing same just with

nextdoor countries) ?

People don't know how to manage not being satisfied?

Above is the hard reality perhaps, to accept we came from

war and are based on it or separated from those that

continue and those that it.

What do you think of these above?

Pictured (slightly less seriously but has a point)

showing from in
/ / in

(similar to )

Also just came to mind is how kids (AND adults) play

these shooting each other some many times a day

in very real situations and graphics WHILE on TV war is

going on almost exactly the same?

Wouldn't be surprised if Nvidia was supporting war as

that's what it helps do mainly for world.

A bit like are a helping fund drone

development, like it or not.

What do you think of these above?

The thing about monopoly of violence is, well, that the state has the monopoly on violence. Journalism can be better at recognising that fact instead of wasting time talking about ‘violent protests'.

Civilians never have the monopoly on violence. The state always does.

@amydiehl Slight sympathetic to man here (yes I agree with all here)

I think people doing better overall will help basically. Because:

The whole ability to give birth NATURALLY creates more bond (it's not as part of man's process naturally or 'part' of him so literally).

So I wanted to say yes man / mankind is bad but also with the looong education and practices I would hope people know better (yes some choose but no many just think naturally it's their right like a king seeing other kings)

It's not all on women / child-bearers but yes some is helped by women to do and not to do things that can compound male domination - it's a mix (this is my overall point + better clear habits from early on in both being a boy or man and being around all types of examples to really choose more since the system and people are all geared towards being mini-lords / kings / pimping planet and people (financially related restricting freedoms etc)....

Side notes:
1/ I like Don'note that homosexual women can solve this / do better but *still* the rest need those skills / awareness. @jebantyk

2/ I like samiamsam's note @samiamsam as yes people can burn things to the ground before accepting but also people being less territorial or perfectionist. I personally tried to helped and it was a fight every time and trying to get perfection rather than practice so people push people out and moms dads can be territorial and aggressive about that too. It's not always mommy is put there and even taking time away if they really need to let others cook (just as one answer not always).

Sharing isn't easy... Practising with others isn't easy.

This is coming from someone trying with EVERYONE and still it wouldn't work their way!

Today in 1991, 34 years ago: Yugoslav Wars: The Yugoslav People's Army begins the Ten-Day War in Slovenia.

#OnThisDay

@metaphil @bert_hubert yeah, it’s a strange world where the police are lesser baddies than the government !

// insert “why not both?” meme

@becha and
- doing nothing is doing something

- my existence is a wonder I worship it.

- Peace in me, Peace in the world

Some dangerous but frequently expressed myths spotted in the media:

Wealth trickles down from the rich.... (it doesn't);

The state is like a household & must therefore 'balance the books'.... (it isn't & doesn't);

The poor have only themselves to blame...(no, poverty is often due to external factors);

The rich got there through hard work.... (no, mostly the rich have either benefitted form inheritance or have, unacknowledged, good luck)....

Just sayin'

#politics

@gerrymcgovern Another take on it, slightly different points:

- People do give way to aggression

- People do give way to technology or fall for it

(also because they can't see the disadvantages and trick, and they go for advantages first without understanding things)

- Women are not as change-focused or dominating-based (also from inside the current male-domination not easy).

This related to 'carrying' or having more attachment (literally) with baby and perhaps males naturally less so (pollinators). And so carrying 'baggage' make people less mobile to do war (which is also why males maybe don't want people more than nurses and doctors, not CEO or on board of directors) because they might be less inclined for which is the of most states and firms ( war today but similar to 100 years ago World Wars)

- People generally are doing 0 towards change (male/female/anyone) and JUST FOLLOW.

Last note:
- That's maybe part of life and nature, science as well as "science" as mankid's re-packaging of the word as their own agenda(s).

Being Individual = Community also + Ubuntu definition / mentality of community / togetherness to grow people...

@johncarlosbaez @grimalkinUSA A different take on this perhaps, just as different perspective is that;

We are all a apart of each other (biology, culture, reality, interactions, needs, sharing etc)... so while you can be yourself on your own there is a learning from others or ideal that you can choose much easier when you see it.

This is why your circle(s) can make you (and break you) but keeping the values and examples ultimately can make you and work naturally with you rather than artificially / aesthetically...

This is why I think it's all our responsibility as a part of one whole, to help others in various levels of directness / indirectness to be more human and more ourselves (with people who allow and care for it).

The Word Ubuntu
===================

"Ubuntu" covers some of what I mean...

(an / African word...) 'I am, because we are".

It emphasizes the role of the community in caring for each other. The is a South nation, primarily found in the Eastern .

Ubuntu (in# computing also)... used to describe the / that the company distributes.

Ubuntu is the primary reason why impoverished rural (and individuals) can continue to .

plutocracy, plutarchy, plutonomy + documentary clip mentioning it...

@freemo Hey hope you're doing well...

Subject: plutocracy, plutarchy, plutonomy + documentary clip

mentioning it (Capitalism A Love Story)...

I'd really like to hear what you think of documentary as a whole

just the clip watch for yourself
(links at the end)...

🔴 Why I send this: I remembered one of these three words we

agreed was fairly accurate to describe some of today's

situation...

🔴 Since then I also realise the other words very similar:

plutocracy, plutarchy, plutonomy
- meaning generally:

= a political system or economy significantly influenced by or

governed by the very wealthy

🔴 All 3 words are quite different sounding in their own way -

e,g... plut"archy" ending sounding like anarchy)

🔴 Somehow this film doc was uplifting - I'd REALLY like to hear

what you think of it of the film if you don't mind - I really

REALLY like it's level of depth and line-for-line considerations

while being nicely loose and comedic...

The main reason for clip is the word plutonomy mentioned...

Either link is the same and starts itself from exact time

plutonomy is mentioned (at 54.50mins) ⬇️

Tech Bros Invented Trains (Again...)

@bonifartius Some ideas:

If buying then:
- Mobile holder / pouch

If making / re-purposing / recycling:
- Old glasses case or old pouch
or anything similar you can put a belt through, glasses case are very rigid and might be too big but clap and close well, else a push-button used for many things

If you have children or place of old stuff / 2nd hand store to look through if might be a fun search rather than buying China as product that might falls apart

@gretathunberg Burning Our Future (see the banner) is a good way to say it.

and slowing down THIS GENERATION SO IT DOESN'T USE IT SO FAST...

Funny how there always seems to be money for tax cuts to billionaires, but not for universal childcare and affordable housing.

Academics and Better Games between us after being Trapped by a System of "Government" [profit]

@markhburton
It's not only the government lacking courage, it's the academics also working for them, paying them.

Paying the government and all these bullshit .... is very much helping it all while falsely believing in money and that it's good for certain things and not mostly all the bad meanwhile.

Academic value system itself might need to change else with one hand say something but other hand do another.

Just writing about it, NOT looking or trying for physical and mental alternatives, doesn't seem right by a long way.

JUST writing and waiting for cruel professionals to stop and listen is stupid, while you or others aren't really bonding with others.

What governments do (the impersonal) and what they intend (as a business upon people) doesn't stop by begging or even pointing it out.

Being intellectual like this has limits unless you want to make a living from writing about the without actually trying to live or do different... e.g. move out of the city.

I'm sure some of it some do, but for the most part feeding the system overly while not risking much.

So by feeding them (money, taxes, time, lack of personal contact with others) and not actually aiming for alternative ways to do things = YOU are quite in the same colonial style boat.

And if not talking to people differently other than academically or monetarily or whatever standards you hold and respect - you are copying the government ways with those standards that filter out alternatives more often.

This comment isn't to villainise you but show: You might be practically in the same colonial boat or overly copying them, even filtering out others.

Look at what academics do (or more what they don't do).
Enough writing already. Courage (or "pusillanimous" as you say) is doing the endless 1-to-1 and linking people (actual growth instead of into more / ) and even with more semi-anonymous people protecting themselves has to be respected online, more than thinking it's anything against you of suspicious in these climates / types of corporate players / governments.

Get out of the city and stop funding them in various ways of paying for it all, otherwise really listen and talk to people like you and care.

Don't say you don't have time or because you have your family and I have mine - but because maybe more we should all be towards 'family' or some sort of link... certainly not just write another general piece about it.

We all lose that way from impersonal / non-personal distances. And need to all do the listening personally we can for each other to get what best we can after positively (even in the negatives). Don't expect the governments to do that! There is only us, right ?!

We can't withhold our attention and ears and trust from each other... even if it's step-by-step.

GET REAL ! We're all scared and just have to find another game and bond somehow - maybe not all in the city where we're much more trapped by the system,
right ?!

Dictionary Definition:
pusillanimous
= "Lacking in courage and manly strength and resolution; contemptibly fearful"
