#Capitalism (a man-made crisis)... :parrot_downright:

Building "finance" or "money" is just empty promises / negative balances put on our shoulders as slavery

+
The "pick and choose" as their own system IS political in itself and exterminating all culture and diversity in exchange for financial culture driving us into the ground 📉
As seen during (it didn't stop suddenly or even slow down!)

(like old days of factories) are toxic and externalising what we sit home and enjoy too much also funded by Government and Banks.

MODERN CAPITALISM IS A TRAP TOO FAR NOW...

Never ending debt is negative more than positive and doing bad work for bad people while our own life is going down... 📉 🔽 as

Or that life is being sterilised and limited to the level that it's actually hard to grow... ourselves...

But if every you ever get stuck thinking that then let me know...

Know it's nature somewhat that plants die out / recycle and that they (prev generation) and we now prepare ground for the next generation.

IT'S HARD ONE TO DIE. BUT WE MUST. And even help other spend time better as we go...

Even if you and I have doubts about "next generation"

Still we have each other here.

Making Friends / Trust NEEDS FREQUENT RISK

🌱 🌱 🌱

" If we do not take risks with others, then we do not have the opportunity for anything great to happen. "

Quote is from Anarchist pages, so if they can do it perhaps there is hope for others to be friends loosely and a bit more dedicated too to do more of "friends" !

anarchistnews.org/content/frie

from an Anarchist perspective might be more extreme than casual Fediverse chat since they are coming from more risk to trust but maybe you can learn from it... instead of just never trusting even if you get ok feelings from them.

Anyway I think people who are not confident of themselves or their own material are probably going to be endlessly chasing their shadows and unsatisfied like seriously hashtag !

I recommend starting to try find anything that will help YOU trust because it helps us all (and without accusing you) but really sharing is sometimes hard for people almost like their jealous or something precedes meeting someone! (before anything are you jealous or never met different enough people to accept them?)

Perhaps we're already at that stage of not trusting for anyone and also people are protective of the very little they have!

Maybe "The more you have, the more cautions you are..." but really talking about it helps or knowing really not much can happen from far away lol.

People not wanting to deal with "people" is actually a damage like "limiting the world" too from relationships growing!

YOU ARE THE CONTAMINATION?

So those people who are contacted for mutual reasons can often contaminate things between people thinking something is suspicious asking too many questions or trying to catch people out without saying what's your own trouble with trusting people even in a "let's see how it goes" basis.

Life is too short - accept differences and say more about trust to understand why - most people will tell you why they are X Y Z and help say why you might perceive it that way.

"It's not just war, it's business"

Just to reflect the temporary nature of what business is as mostly a money-minded mentality of people for power or mutual greed.

Rather than working on mutual things THAT LAST, things are done the cheapest way or brutal way with lack of any attempt to caring, educating it's people and usually all attained through force or indirect kinds of monopolisation. and itself being one of the them and directly funding .

Often funding both sides.

and big groups know as "companies" (all meanings) who see each other as friends or comrades one day and suddenly replaceable / killable / cashing them in the next. 🔫 🤑

Even if this is hard to imaging if now one is the other... it's still just normal / regular for one "company" to try absorb / kill another in such a deliebrately faulty / negative model of economics ( ) needing such levels of death for things to "grow" (or simply happen again) and regularly see in history of every empire to repeat itself... unless one day we get out of such harsh debt-creation and "market-based" economics sucking everything hard as extraction and leaving individuals and nature for dead (same war different harder / softer games)

So I really wouldn't be surprised if they should hands suddenly for something more mutually beneficial...

➡️ The Lesson here?
Business itself (the Selling / Buying / Renting of people) and selling out of nature and various sacred things is the bad-doing of things as purely for profit i.e. government and bank's politics not yours / economics as the basic standard for everything else built on top. It's not a charity you know! But do send us your donations !

I don't have the answer for if Ukraine were to become a puppet state or the same copy as every other country if it wins waging war on it's people / screwing them hard for their money. This kind of war is more realistic than or example supermarket wars or British Gas Company increasing heating costs on people right before winter lol 🔥

Even between enemies, many deals / "cease-fires" have been made... but still the war goes on even in peaceful countries drawing things out in other deals...

When Rumi said "I will meet you there" he said also said "meet me online so we know which garden you will be in"!...

on what as the below says:

"Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there.
- Rumi

The quote is probably more accurately about right and wrong and meeting in beautiful place together, sharing "as the middle perspective" or entirely just "beautiful place" as the view for things without right and wrong...

...but I go for my own interpretation that we need to do the middle ground or other perspective AND go to the garden to meet in person also !

TLDR; Going to any garden of thought might be easy but practicing talking longer together is the art we also need do practice of online beforehand also!

Of course online more privately too not etc but and ,
or protocals.

⚠️ 💥 Can't just do short text talking !! 💥 ⚠️
That always = war / shallow depth / misunderstanding and often lots of it which is longer than clearer long text or safe audio chats !

When Rumi said "I will meet you there" he also could have said "meet me online before so we know which garden we will be in!... so we don't get lost in the wrong one for hours and hours calling each other when we get there !"

Good people heading towards death via one-way broadcast and one-hit wonders in work,,,

People who *made* something good once, almost killed it in the present by non-spreading / non-giving to others of it. Not sharing yourself with it essentially.

I get the people part or "people work" I'm asking which can be hard but there's literally not other way... or else you don't make your work "alive" through others because relativity is lost and your seeding of it (like torrent files) in today's timepoints and events (live context).

"Oh you your website / profile / book is all nice "but without you it's quite inactive and therefore quite dead (so we don't have to expect everyone to keep animating their own work but if you want it to spread or movement then it literally needs "movement!".

As hard as it is to hear people speak about your work... talk to people, gamble time or plan things, it will give us ask back and allow different levels to come into it. But we need more than good - as we almost have too many now and have to start doing the if it (together!)

⌚22.27 In contrast, small-scale has it's own economies.

⌚23.19 Re-discovering citizenship.

⌚24.21 Local people, who care for local people.

⌚25.03 Large-scale state dazzled by it's good intentions, saw itself as provider.

⌚25.14 Economic competitiveness usurped other standards.

While democracy has advanced, the part we ordinary citizens have played in the making and sustaining of the places and communities we live in, has diminished.

⭐ Never has so much been decided for so many by so few.

⌚26.02 Presence is beautiful. It is friendship, it is our being. It is what life is for.

Absence make things difficult... especially when there is no-one at home.

⌚26.56 The price charged by Fred for his goods will hold only so long as the price charged by Dan for the same goods, in the same place, is no lower. If it is (lower), Fred will need to reduce his prices or else go out of business.

⌚27.37 What distinguishes them (producers) is how good thy are at doing it (selling)...

Everyone else is doing so and anyone who does not is quickly priced out of business.

In the future it will not be like that.

⌚29.23 How can a community, despite all this, be mistress of it's own fate in this sense?

How can it... have the freedom to make enlightened decision and make them stick?

(1 answer) Villages... not based on price... built around a complex culture of arrangements, obligations, loyalties, collaborations which express the nature and priorities of the community and the network of relationships and reciprocities between it's members.

⭐ Examples: House-holds, friends, neighbours, cricket teams, magistrates, parent-teacher association, allotment holders.

This is the non-monetary informal economy. The central core that enables our society to exist.

⌚31.06 Sheer naked loyalties and family values can only go so far.

There needs to be something interesting connecting too. Something to talk about, cooperate in, mull over, to aim for, to laugh at.

Something to coordinate and do together.

⌚31.27 A culture is like the upright strands that you begin with in basket-making, round which you wind the texture of the basket yourself. No sticks, no basket. No culture, no community.

It is both the parent and child of social capital... The social life...

The links of cooperation and friendship...

⌚32.00 It is the good faith and civility... that make a living community. The cooperation that build it's institutions. It is the social ecosystem in which a culture lives.

⌚32.16 Adam Smith observed that people are willing to carry out almost any service for each other despite being motivated by nothing more than commercial self-interest.

It has seemed to be unnecessary... for such high emotives as benevolence.

⌚33.45 In the mature settlements that could follow however, the tyranny of decisions being made in lock step with competitive pricing with be an ancient memory.

There will be time for music.

⌚33.58 Well, the answer to that ... You, the listener, are invited to explore ideas from more than 1 point of view. Follow up the references to build you own familiarity with the key concepts in your own way.

You are invited to participate in a story. A story about the shared experience, of something discovered, something discussed. Something done.

⭐ "Surviving The Future" is a book about inventive, cooperative, self-reliance.

Inheriting and inventing families of enabling principles such as; the rules of chess, the instruments in music, or the grammar of language, we can construct things with more confidence and ambition than we could if we have to invent everything from first principles.

⌚35.34 ...really what I think the radio station and beyond is in support of is how do we make sure those upright strands are there so that we can weave together a real community, a real neighbourhood a real culture.

⌚36.18 Who doesn't want to live in a society like that, that puts emphasis on what he calls the non-monetary central economy - it's not about how much you make, but about the interactions and the relationships you have in a community.

⌚36.41 Relationship is paramount. We are nothing if we are not in relationship.

⭐ Abstract without the particular creates the demonic.

So in other words if you can create an abstraction, which is what our system has done so well; other people, putting a price on everything, food from the grocery store- it's all an and if we aren't in relationship, in the particular, you can do terrible things.

⌚37.14 Yeah and as he [Shaun] note's... "How can so few influence so many?" (answer is the abstraction that loses touch with reality in how things are made etc).

⌚37.29 Intention of community - if the community has intention, then it is not helpless. If this is how we wish to live, then we can make it so...

⌚37.42 Phrase "If you don't use your imagination someone else will."

⭐ And I think that's what's happened, where our imagination has been co-opted

New word / Concept =

I was reading some Rumi poetry, and encountered this in his "In Baghdad, Dreaming of Cairo, In Cairo, Dreaming of Baghdad":

"As in the algebraical method of 'the two errors',
the correct answer comes only after two substitutions,
after two mistakes"

zoboko.com/text/zww0d8n6/the-e

I suspect the intersection between those who know math history, and Rumi's poetry, is pretty small, but: what algebraical method is Rumi referring to there?
