@lizzard cool!
@hansw "soy" is a slang for a "weak" and interchangeable with "beta". Basically means someone "who lacks masculin traits".
It was first used by gym people to refer someone who will becomes weak if consuming an soy based proteins for their diet if i'm not mistaken.
The opposite is a "chad" or "alpha".
At least that what's internet used for joking or meme-ing around.
@lizzard did you created this ? What software did you used ?
@hansw can't relate. I'm a soy-user
This is a really my oversimplified theory after having an "indepentent research"
just to make myself understand things better. (What i actually meant for "independent research" is my brain farts btw )

If you wondered why most of objects in the universe
Just remember. Gravity exist.
And you could reproduce this behavior by directly dropping an apple from your ceiling to your head if you doubt it.
Assuming If gravity is a force that attracts an object to another, like object "a" to object "b" and the does opposite too.
It would be logical if any objects on the universe taking a sphere as their final shape because it's the most stable shape you can got in a 3 dimensional field by all means. (And that's why Magnet fields also takes spherical shape)

@blinkwarp most of 40+ years old suffer from severe brain damage already lol.
How ironic.
@blinkwarp considering nano chips are hard to manufacture and prone to failure. (We still use low tier material for producing electronics blame general relativity and quantum physics for that)
theorically speaking it would be impossible for someone or some group of collectives to do this. At least in this decade. So yeah.
@pb lmaooo
@dankmaximus assuming that your company licensing their employees work by using gpl. I can guarantee, that you as an employee at some points basing your work from someone else that use gpl license. If you're sure that you doesn't base your work under someone else project, then just change it.
If you don't want to touch gpl. base it from another written code that's not licensed under gpl.
Or even better "Write code from scratch"
At least that's what i understand abkut license.
@blinkwarp lmao. I know how to "properly" configured grub back when i tried to install arch. But damn i can't provide internet connection for my arch installation (if i remember correctly i'm stuck at configuring wifi networks and i don't have access to lan networks either. Lmao i don't even pass the procedural pacman -Syu because of this, so no DE. Hours after hours fiddling with arch i decided to wipe my arch partition and install manjaro instead. )
I'm quite proud that i could managed to properly set up my graphics driver with every os installed.
@dankmaximus i never cared about license tbh since i never done a big fat project like making a fully working software with huge userbase or basing my software using someone else project.
I always license my "stuff" under cc by license (unless i'm forking another project that requires me to attribute the creator and the license they used).
So yeah.
@kmic omg yes. I can't play it is this common ? should we tell mods or admin ?
@dankmaximus nah it's fine lol. I'm just trying to drag you to debian userbase
Considering you say that ubuntu isn't tracking it's userbase. (Which is false)
Just do a tcp dump and see it for yourself.
@dankmaximus does nvidia prioprietary repo can't be added to debian ? Weird. Back when i used debian
I could just pasted this to my apt source list
> "# buster-backports deb http://deb.debian.org/debian buster-backports main contrib non-free"
And apt install something something nvidia-driver
For snap i can just do "apt install snapd"
Does that stopped working now ?
@dankmaximus define "open" when you doesn't care about prioprietary.
@kmic weird.
I used tusky and i could open it just fine.
I even open it using browser which directs me to ovh server and i still able to play it.
@dankmaximus don't get me wrong.
I just merely pointing out the flaw in your logic.
bad = "Lack of productivity program"
Good = "had a lots of productivity program"
Ubuntu > "literal debian with some added repos"
Debian > "can be literal ubuntu with a bit of a tweak"
the reason > "want an os with a good amount of productivity stuff and doesn't care about prioprietary stuff"
By that reason then the most logical thing to do is used windows or mac os.
@dankmaximus not really.
If the reason behind your decision is because how unfriendly the linux stuff is.
You should use windows or mac os.
For professional use windows or mac os is the most logical os to choose considering the huge amount of support not ubuntu
@dankmaximus
> open source is good for developer
lmao
> end user has no benefits over it.
Double lmao
Science is peer review, science is transparency and giving people the opportunity to expose any biases you might have had , or errors you may have made. Science is about enabling people to call your assertions into doubt, to **encourage** people to call your assertions into doubt.
So if you get mad at people for questing the science, or your opinion and conclusions based on science, and yell at them to "follow the science"... guess what, YOU are the one who isnt following the science. Unless you welcome and encourage, and even seek out people who disagree with your conclusions, you aren't doing science, you are doing propaganda.
i based my political and religion view on morals (means "do whatever you want, if it's not harming others or your environment, it's all good for me")
There's no "past". it's only "now" and "your choice". So think wisely
