Yeah. Also, normies don't use IRC, so a user-friendly thelounge.chat instance would probably help greatly.

@freemo
😂 That earlier story made me smile so hard. What a smart and lovely dog!

I assume from the past tense that she has now past. I'm sure the moments together were well spent.

?!

They are way, way smarter than you think, @Wetrix

Some animals have higher IQs then some humans. Dogs are loyal, affectionate and playful, which better explain their popularity.

> I don't know if my dog lies

It is harder to tell when a dog/pet lies, but that's really only because we don't hold a higher standard of honesty to our pets, because

1. They don't speak, so they are less capable of communitcating thoughts, including falsehoods. So we don't think of them like that.

2. We find them cute usually so we let it slide lol.

> I don't think a [person] raised in bad conditions becomes inherently bad or evil. [s/he's] simply adapting to [his/her] surroundings. You see this in [abused youth] all the time like [juvenile delinquents] that are only that way until taken away from the [people/parents/gang/gulag/terrorist group/famine/etc] that made them that way.

I don't see much difference there.

@Wetrix @freemo @funny @dogs
lol my dog lies. I think of him as a person. Well, a kid (he's a puppy).

A domesticated dog would be akin to a socialised and civilised person. Likewise, people & animals raise in poor conditions will reflect that mostly, so in the end I don't think we're that different.

@trinsec I mean absolutely *anywhere* on the same physical paper or electronic medium as the dictionary. In a word's written definition or example sentence, maybe.

Does there exist a word *anywhere* in a dictionary (printed or otherwise) which is not defined?

@luke
A vague question but: In a stive to be more "natura", would forbidding usury realistically be part of that today? Is that something we'd want?

@maleza
So I just read this wonderful idea of yours, and something came to mind. Maybe it'll be of use to you.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z-order_

Instead of "decoding" your hexadecimal representations of nibble drawings implicitly as left-to-right and downward, you could use this Z-order-curve.

This would allow you to create drawings of abitrary size (and dimension if as a rule you crop zero-nibbles) from a single hex number.

As the Wiki pages shows, you could even expand to 3D drawings (idk what that entails).

I hope I made sense.

@drq @pixelfed Yeah, I thought that too. That's usually the pattern in every UI.
