@freemo I solved it. I was just off-put by the fact that doing "search" with the exact name of the person doesn't work if they are elsewhere
@sgryphon Over in Boston they are doing some awesome stuff! With the rising sound of those processor fans, though, I kept expecting an overheating issue!
@aral I hear they are great for installing Linux on to
@lucifargundam what a great gif :)
@publicvoit aside from the political content, I like your way of linking to a twitter post. Do you have that automated?
@fsf but.. emacs 28 is where GCC is at!
I've never quite understood the quick hatred often touted against css. I actually think it's a great idea, and it's pain points are no more than any other technology.
@redstarfish are the pain points deeply rooted in mastodon.el so not worth trying to tweak it to your needs? Just curious why you've chosen the "write your own" option.
@SamWithoutTherapy@fedi.samtherapy.not as far as I know, Android-Studio is all there is. I'm a die-hard emacser but even I was forced out of exwm so I could run the virtual android in Studio. It's was a real pain. So, yeah, I could write my code in my chosen editor, but I couldn't escape the need for Studio to finish the process.
@redstarfish I am guessing you've already looked into https://github.com/jdenen/mastodon.el? I'm curious how it stacks up on a scale of twitter.el (a bit awkward) to Telega (best client available)
@SamWithoutTherapy I don't think it will.
@redstarfish there's a 500 char limit? Does that depend on which Mastodon server you are on?
Sounds cool!
@redstarfish are you writing these from emacs?
@DeveloperMemes this why list comprehension are generally so much better
