🦊 I'm excited to announce Sitefox v0.0.1!

It's a ClojureScript backend web framework that runs on Node. One year ago I went all in on full stack cljs and Sitefox is the result.

On Oct 26, we sent a formal letter to Truth Social’s chief legal officer, requesting the source code to be made publicly available in compliance with the license.

According to AGPLv3, after being notified by the copyright holder, Truth Social has 30 days to comply or the license may be permanently revoked.

@swiley Several Mastodon instances seem to agree with you on that. Other than just making bad design decisions, has Reddit done anything so grievous as Facebook has? I gain genuine value from several subs

@konradkokosa Clojure; a functional lisp changes how you think about writing software

Reddit has removed the option to save link/permalink. I guess now I'm switching to old.reddit like everyone else...

@valerauko Now that is interesting to me. For HTTP stuff, nothing Clojure-core should have any iimpact at all. I would expect issues to either stem from the Java server undergirding it (usually Undertow) or from whatever library is doing your routing. Reitit is the current top-dog in routing and is very performance-concious, eg cljdoc.org/d/metosin/reitit/0.

@valerauko are you referring to the performance characteristics of the built in data structures? Or to something with an official issue on the Clojure jira? I haven't heard of any compromising performance issues

@abbienormal I'm referring to ipfs decentralized model, as opposed to http server-based model

Projectile, my first open-source project, turned 10 earlier this year. Here are few thoughts on the journey so far metaredux.com/posts/2021/10/28

@icedquinn I think you're right, but they are pretty cool notes. I wish more of my notes were so illustrated

@rinzlo Hey! That's exactly how I would like to get started. Right now my static sites run an a script that generates the content then rsyncs it up to the server, all in one command. I'd love to get a solution like that working with ipfs.

Oh. The docs don't have a quickstart, but do spend 30 pages explaining how to form your request. In XML. How quaint.
