Since I'm trying to phase out tagging everyone individually, as it feels a bit scammy, but everyone asked to be kept in the loop... so here are some alternate "official" ways the conversation should continue:

1) On the official Gitlab repository, which is where all voting and formal discussions will take place

gitlab.com/ufoi/constitution

2) The group found here for mastodon discussions (just tag them instead of everyone): @ufoi

3) On matrix chat. :matrix.org

And of sourse you are all welcome to contact me directly. I am very excited how there is so much talk about it and it hasnt even been released for 24 hours yet!

Just a loose thought:

Maybe there should be changes to the code, which would allow people and instances to tag themselves as adhering (or not) to certain principles, which then would allow individual people to filter instances and people according to their own tags, and administrators to filter those people/instances which behave discordantly with their own tagging. That should deal with the criticism that some people are so traumatized or fragile that they cannot even risk being exposed to certain content and therefore preventive censorship is needed in order to help them. Instead of making decisions for them, admins then could just allow users a choice: do you want certain kinds of filters, or not?
