@slackz
Oh well, I don't think I'll have similar issues at least for a few years =D
@slackz Uh, I didn't notice no scaling issue with quiterss, so far performance has been alright. I'll look into it anyway, UI looks pretty nice
@slackz glad to be of some help in luring you into the feed world!
Remember, you can also subscribe to youtube channels, fediverse accounts, subreddits... life is better this way =D
@slackz I use feeder, available on f-droid (link at the bottom). It has more or less the same functionality of quiterss, I keep the two synces by importing/exporting feed list, but I didn't do much research on android as I mainly read with the pc.
@slackz I use quiterss on debian. It can tag the feed, organize them, import and export, basically, it rocks.
@Surasanji Holy shit let go of that crab! I'll just post... I'll post something, I'll post... one of the best tables I've seen in my life, that's what I'll post.
@Mrfunkedude Ah, thanks man!
I started to try out #pixelfed today, at @arteteco@pixelfed.social , hoping to get a motivational boost in shooting more.
So far, it has a pretty sleek and intuitive UI. @dansup is quite the man!
@comphys in case, you also have packages (rpython and rpy) to run python code into R, or viceversa... you can mix them without much effort actually =)
@freemo there is a spike in the end of December from this graph, but the average is still low... I wouldn't know how to interpret it.

@comphys Consider that not everyone who uses R is a programmer, they can be from any field, and R is way easier to jump in for statistics than python, a few lines of code and you have your first scatterplot and dataset built up.
It has some native data type that are done for that purpose, like matrixes and data frames, and a huge amount of very specific libraries.
That said, you can likely achieve similar results in python by creating custom classes and defining a few functions, but it's also a matter of ecosystem, as people will "speak R" in some environments and python in others.
If you are very confident with python I don't think you have a need to learn R. Personally I like python more for general purpose stuff, but since I suck at both I may as well get deeper into R =D
@NOCARRIER depends where you are, at the moment
@tjemni Feels better not to be alone in feeling crap. I haven't considering gaming, as I'm not a gamer myself, but maybe I could revive that old mednaffe...
fun fact: contrary to popular belief, suicides are not actually peaking during holidays, but in spring and fall.
That doesn't prevent many, me for one, to feel like crap during celebrations.
As every year I'm promising myself that next year I'm going to find a way to enjoy, or at least ignore, those evil couple of weeks. I usually forget about it around mid-january, but if someone has a good way to avoid it please do tell me.
This year I went to the office to fix some servers problem, pretending it's not new years eve, but it's working like eating cardboard for a cough.
@paolo
Dici con l'app social? L'ho installata su un mio server ma è pesantemente in alpha, praticamente inutilizzabile al momento, anche se sono fiducioso verrà sviluppata molto velocemente.
Buona fortuna, fai sapere come è andata!
@cathal afaik there has is no evidence health risk with properly composted human feces. Do you have some specific doubts about it?
Main trouble with human feces (and urine) in general, as I can see, is the pharmaceuticals in them. That is why I'd make an additional mushroom-composting cycle if possible.
