woohoo!! You are much more advanced than me @nickanderson !
Love it!!!
Do you also use it for journaling?
@frayoshi yes I also use org-roam. https://fosstodon.org/@nickanderson/112102866300507723

@ChristianKrebel for #tenting, you can always build on them [as this person](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fan3y45x0emob1.jpg%3Fwidth%3D4032%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D55ab06258409c46726d9439c8e529123703f11ce) have!
The 'problem' of the #Moonlander, and also of the #Glove80, is that they take a good amount of space on the #backpack.. now, if that is a problem, only depends on you... but if #portability is on top of the list, the #Voyager can only be beaten by custom ones... ^^
The problem for me, is the only 2 thumb keys, I think 3 would have been perfect!
#ZSA do you hear me? XD
Sorry for the delay @ctietze !
Have recorded a short sample, but apart from being cool, I do not find it very ready just yet.. it is very slow and lacks some of the 2D functionalities... there's an option to add text on every node, but crashes on my computer, and it is quite modern... also, the labels inside the node, make it unreadable...
I learned this morning of the passing of Akira Toriyama, the father of Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump, designer of Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger. Also, probably the artist who influenced me the most when I started drawing. Here is an old fan art I drew of Arale. My heart is really heavy this morning...
beware @ChristianKrebel ..... that then you'll likely struggle to use again a qwertz #keyboard XD
Well, I went dvorak, very far from qwerty/z.... might be less pronounced the effect on a Colemak layout ^^
Still, expect to drop typing speeds, unless you constant swap one with the other
I kinda hope I went with a Voyager, feel the constant urge to bring the moonlander with me e.where XD the voyager is much more portable :)
I actually find the 2D more useful, as it also shows titles and not just spheres @ChristianKrebel , but it is interesting to visualize :)
As an example, this is the same view, but in #2D !
I considered Obsidian, but ultimately went with roam as I wanted something multi-platform, libre and potentially future proof : )
But a big factor was that I already was using emacs, so it was just about installing a package and learning it ^^
On mobile is less user friendly, but I can always refine notes on the pc, and probably better ^^
Now there's a very usable emacs for android, and in combination with the moonlander, it is not too far from the desktop experience :)
I actually find it useful for the way my mind works.. have a gazillion notes that I rarely remember I took @ervan .. with roam-ui, I instead get a quick refresh every time a linked note is consulted :)
still have those gazillion notes to port, no idea if one day I will do it
the perk is that I can share my interconnections with people that couldn't care less ![]()
oh.. great!
sorry for bothering @freemo
have a great day! ![]()
@QOTO @freemo for example: https://fosstodon.org/@BigEatie/111902829863998988 does not load from qoto, but does as a post it private
Just discovered the #3D mode of #ORUI ( org-roam-ui of #emacs )!
#MindBoggling
I know that probably has been there for a while, but have never activated it!
Do you also use #orgRoam ?
This is a core node with an index, not sure if I should use it or link nodes differently.. but comes handy and can always disable it with filters

I love browsing #tokyocameraclub when it's cherry blossom season. 🌸
I was randomly browsing the #hashtag, when I found your #question @ChristianKrebel !
Wrote a post about it just yesterday

TL;DR
Arrived from
qwerty full size
to
Moonlander + Dvorak
and shockingly eliminated my wrist pain
What about you?
what choice have you made? ![]()
Since mid October 2023, noticing I was starting to have more and more #wristPain, which were lasting days instead of hours... I opted to give those fancy #ergonomic #splitKeyboards a chance, and after several research hours, I opted for the #ZSA #Moonlander, there were alternatives, but too far from what I was used to, was unsure and this was my final choice. (also found a good local used deal)
Since I was changing keyboard, why not use also a more ergonomic layout? So, I opted for a #shockTherapy and went with #Dvorak and used this combination ever since! My first days were quite.... a going back to when I was 7 years old, sub 10 wpm XD but after a couple of weeks, typing was not as humiliating as before and my speeds increased :)
From time to time, I recorded my progress on #Monkeytype and these at the bottom are 4 months of data, from a classical full size #qwerty at 110ish wpm to currently 60ish, with a constant increase week after week. I am not in a hurry, as my wrist pain vanished, and that was the final goal.. So I'm okay with half the speed and -95%ish pains :)
Hope this might prove useful to someone that is also considering this #journey or have this kind of #pain ^^

The math around pharmakinetics of Ozempic/semiglutide (and many drugs in fact) is fun from a mathematics standpoint and not too hard to understand.
Basically it has a 7 day half life, so they dose it every 7 days. So each week the amount in your blood right after an injection is : 1, 1.5,1.75.... approaching 2. Which means after about a month you reach max dose and it naturally levels off. The curve is basically logarithmic if you did the math though.
Its a nice little intro to finite infinite series, a fun topic IMO.
