@Surasanji you know that brown cheese you get around the edges of baked dishes like onion soup. It is pretty much that, just brown "cooked" cheese with much less moisture and much more firm and chewy.

I discovered it last time. I figured what the hell let me try a piece of cheese and see what I get. It was glorious.

I am currently making cheese jerky... what a time to be alive!

@Cboy13 I'm all for dismantling the government. But sadly I dont think a government shutdown is an effective way to do it. Plus fuck the wall.

@ShugoWah@snouts.online HBomb? Did I miss some BS somewhere?

I needed some sort of a really bright light for my work space. So I hacked a 16x Cree spotlight I had. I never used it much because it was have and took an insane amount of power (3 amps almost constant). So I hacked it to run off wall power instead and put it on my adjustable arm. I now have a blinding light ;)

@bamfic oh wow I cant imagine how through hole could be an issue. I hate through hole anymore myself.

@carlcolglazier For a lot of stuff, speed reading works great. doesnt work for educational material so much but if its casual then it works well.

@cambridgeport90 just trying to solder an LMX2322 onto a breakout board right now. I want to test it for a potential candidate as a frequency counter (there are 2 other designs for a frequency counter im considering)..

Once I figure out the frequency counter it will be a component in my ROES meter V2 (see my pinned post to see what that is).

Damnit. I just went through three TSSOP16 chips before I got it soldered right... I usually get these first try.

My friend gave me a fully functional antique frequency counter. I don't need it with my oscopes and spectrum analyzers, but you have to admit this thing is pretty sexy.

I'm pumping a 12 millivolt peak-to-peak sine wave into this thing at 10MHZ. That seems to be the bottom of it's resolution range. Much below that and the counter drifts. Not sure if that's the counter or my equipment though. I am using a cheap signal generator for this test.

@Ferretsyndicate@radical.town Thats why I only shit at home. I'm always naked at home :)

Was talking to @ancientfurries@twitter.com about my mom who was undoubtedly a furry before furries were a thing. She fostered baby zoo animals, worked with & met Walt Disney himself, & wrote an animal column for @TheTorontoSun@twitter.com. Here she is with Teddy, a Barbary Lion she fostered in the 60s.

@cambridgeport90 I would argue that the language of the time was such that god was not masculin, since the way to express gender-neutral associations was to use the same pronouns as one would use for male.

So one perspective is that since god is gender-neutral the term "goddess" makes no sense in that context.

I love to read older literature. I'll check it out, thanks.

@Gargron

@cambridgeport90 I know lots of people who hate on religion all the time and see it as central to all the evils of the world.

I also know people who feel religion is this infallible set of principles that is perfect in every way.

These two groups of people represent extremes, and both tend to be rather dysfunctional.

Cleaned up my Directional Coupler project. Labeled the ports and even added the electrical characteristics at different frequencies on the bottom. I then added a coat of lacquer resin to seal in that beautiful copper color (which otherwise would go brown as it oxidized).

The final result has a sort of beauty to it.

@ab3xu Side not, an Opossum and a Possum are pronounced the same but are entirely different creatures.
