@shuttersparks

To be fair Elon is more of an asshat than he is a moron, where as Mark Cuban is a bit idiotic at times. Most of elon's issues is revolving around how he treats people, not his IQ.

@mapto

FYI I went to add my fiber today and to my suprise turns out this mix already has 135% of your daily fiber. So seems its not needed. I added it anyway though and am at about 200% now, might be too high.

@_thegeoff

I cant for the life of me figure out why mythbusters would be on this list.

@olives I would say the term they are trying to define is actually "Natural rights" or "Natural Human Rights"

@ezeeE Lets call it what it is, a global act of terrorism carried out by the israeli state with complete disregard for civilian populations.

Israel apologists have been amazingly defensive about its latest acts of terrorism in Lebanon. It’s extremely important to them that everyone believe it’s awesome and good to turn electronic devices into thousands of bombs placed throughout unsuspecting civilian populations and then turning around in a day or two and bomb them without mercy.

@curtis

Thats totally in line with what id expect in a economy undergoing strong inflation.

@timo21

This checks out, and is of course absolutely bonkers.

@Oggie

On the one hand I do agree there is some similarity in the moral issue here as both AI based art and straight up stealing credit raises an issue about theft and copyright that has some clear overlap.

That said I would not say that people who are all in on AI, particularly outside of the scope of art, are in the same boat as credit theifs. There is clearly some gray area open to opinion as to whether it is theft at all, and even if you think it is its undeniably far more a gray area than direct theft and under some forms of reasoning isnt theft at all.

Just an FYI, on Thursday (2 days) we will be re-attemping our 5-in-1 update. It will be a very major update so expected as much as 3-days downtime as we are finally moving to the new architecture. We **will** be up at the other end with hopefully everything working and a few new features.

GREAT change is approaching. NIST will standardise prohibition of requirement of composing passwords from various character styles, and requirement for periodic password changes. These are harmful and obsolete rules. Now they will be treated as a cybersecurity weakness pages.nist.gov/800-63-4/sp800-

So just a quick search and i was able to find gendered language (he, she, they) used for animals back to 1914, there are probably older uses.

@GlasWolf @TabletopBellhop @rdonoghue

Most cases i see are facebook groups where that wouldnt fully track. Maybe

@C @realcaseyrollins

They has plenty of history as a gender neutral si gular back to 1375. As for aninals im not sure when we used they but it obvohsly makes sense since they have sex and is proper engliah today at least.

@manlycoffee

Generally you will pay a good deal **less** per month with a mortgage even with all the extras. REally wheree i think there is an argument to rent is if you dont want to be locked down to a location. If you want to move every few years a mortgage is **not** the way to go. But if you are going to keep the house until you own it(and perhaps even rent it out rather than sell if you move) then a mortgage is a great economic choice and it certainly isnt "hurting your ability to gain wealth" since it is both giving you collateral and saving you money over renting.
