@volkris Almost always.
Just a reminder, when a cop points a gun at you and you react as if your life is in danger, you get shot and the cop walks free.

> Do you mean all the people you have come across personally...? didn't seem clear.
No never met one in person. My expiernce to them is limited to their posts online and in videos.
> I'd like to theoretically see numbers that differentiate people who are starting off as 'going with the flow types of people' who then changed their mind
In almost all videos I've seen when someone starts spewing sovreign citizen nonsense on a traffic stop they are always found in the end to have a suspended license.
@TheOldGuy PAywalled, wont/cant read. Not me speaking as a moderator or anything, but I'd highly suggest not sharing commercial for-profit news, especially paywalled.
I cant read the article and am not saying anything about this post but for-profit news has a tendency towards sensationalism and typically results in a great deal of misinformation. Just as a personal suggestion at a minimum dont share paywalled stuff (We dont want to promote that).
Anyway thanks for trying to bring attention to rape and injustice around it, that is an important topic.
@admitsWrongIfProven Not really practical in the USA. We have amazing public transport but it just cant cover the whole country by foot. We just have way to much empty space.
There is a reason why most of the best public transit is in densely populated.
Driving license.
Sovreign Citizen: A person who had their license suspended and adopted a philosophy that would allow him or her to morally justify driving anyway by putting the guilt on the state rather than their own personal actions.
I always fin it funny how nearly 100% of sovereign citizens are found to have once had a license and they were all about following the system right up until it got suspended.
Yup.. people seem to care more about having opinions (bad ones) as to how to solve problem than they care to actually understand problems.
I dont mind people being wrong, but the level of confidence with which people are wrong without exploring the topic in an educated way that bothers me the most.
Thats completely false, neither stock, nor economies as a whole, are a zero sum game. Nor is it true that you can only make wealth off of stocks by taking wealth from others.
I can trade you a bank note immediately for food. I can similarly trade you a share immediately for food. Both are readily available. The difference is in how they are taxed, a share would be like trading gold or an asset, which has specific tax rules.
Both bank notes and shares can, in theory, loose money in short periods of time depending on the stability of the asset. Bank Notes are back on the stability of the US economy as a whole, securities are based on the stability of the security, which doesnt need to be in US dollars. As such a security can, in theory, be more stable (or less stable) than a bank note.
> That's just wealth on papier as shares.
So are bank notes, and yet it is just as real as any other form of wealth. You say this like this money is less real than someone else.
This is expected whent here is downtime, especially significant, works like this.
Posts you make if a server is federated with ours will be cached ont he other server when you make the post. All interactions are with the cached version but any actions like boosts are **pushed** to us so we can keep a record on our side.
If we are down any actions that need to be pushed to us retry a few times but eventually will die and be lost. That is likely what happened here, the boost or other posts you missed during that time retried and timed out.
I think there are certain tools from our end where we can go and fetch stuff we may have missed but since it can literally be on any post to the beginning of time that would be a massive effort and would be quite rude to other servers to hit them up that much. That said it can be done.
If its just a few over our downtime period it may be best to just call it a loss, but let me look into if there are any efficient options.
Well to be fair that does make it consistent. Afterall now that fetuses are babies if fetuses arent getting free food from the state why should any of the birthed babies get it either? Fair is fair!
Well they dont seem to have any interest in genocide the Jews... that one subtle hint...
@freeschool Thsi is a legitimate problem. I will keep digging on it.
