Dr. Freemo is the greatest teacher in all fediverse of #QOTO ! I would be very helpful if you could say so. However, English communication is also difficult SO SORRY๐
For anyone not on the QOTO instance or doesnt use the web interface here is a screenshot of what the instance ticker looks like in the feed. Its optional and can be turned off by why would you want to!
The colors are based on what instance a user uses, red and yellow for QOTO, white and blue for mastodon, gold and grey for Pleorma. The icon is the favicon used for the server and updated every few days.

The QOTO instance ticker accidentally introduced into the other themes have been removed/fixed. Should be back to normal. Refresh your browser if needed, if your on the default theme or a ticker theme you will see the new QOTO colors otherwise things should look like the classic theme again if your not on a theme with tickers.

Minor Update just went down to the instance ticker. The qoto.org instance ticker now has its own custom icon and colors. Since we are a significant fork from vanilla mastodon it made sense that we have our own unique colors to represent QOTO instance and derivatives.
Please let us know if anyone sees any unintended side effects or if anyone doesnt like the new change. We can always fix it.
I'm starting to think Nazi might be getting a bit overused these days... apparently driving a car is exactly equivalent to mass genocide, who knew!
Seems we have been holding steady on #QOTO with about 500 new users per week, 80 per day. Very exciting!

The pengrams I use when practicing a new script...
It is designed so each word has the letter it represents twice, once at the beginning and once in the middle (never at the end). I picked these words for a few reasons.
1) I always practice the capital form of the letter in the word
2) I always practice the lowercase form of the letter
3) I get to practice both the lead-in connector and the outgoing connector for the lowercase form (by virtue of now being at the end of the word)
FYI last word should be Zanzibar
I was actually surprised I didnt get some pushback from our users on the new instance tickers in our UI. Personally I love it but I expected a few people to complain. But literally everyone who registered an opinion said they loved it.
Though Rob is in the dark theme where it doesnt exist, so i guess he isnt a fan.
This is the new server favicon 
which in a few days should update as our instance ticker icon too.. thoughts?
