Technically we still have a chief of staff, he doesn't step down until jan 1st, at which point he may already have a replacement lined up. Also we most absolutely have an attorney general, Jeff sessions stepped down and was replaced by Matt Whitaker.
With that said despite the misleading and inaccurate statements in this meme it does convey a very valid point, that being, trump is a terrible leader and does not take the advice of others. He thinks he knows it all while knowing nothing and this arrogance combined with stupidity is the disease and everyone resigning is the symptom

For those of you who are wondering, here is a picture of my disc herniation. I will likely need surgery soon (im mostly bed ridden). Since ive been unable to find any american doctor willing to even talk to me I had to learn to read MRIs on my own and identify a herniation. After some studying , and tinkering with the software to slice and view 3d MRI files I finally found a slice that shows the herniation. I exported the image and it is highlighted for those of you who cant read MRIs.
My little baby. When I go to bed at night my AR-15 is always in the room and ready to go just in case. Luckily I've never needed to use her.
So I got the raw 3d MRI source files from the hospital. Then I got the software needed to view the MRI in 3d. It let me rotate, slice, and even colorize the images. So **I** generated these images from the raw MRI. It shows my kidney, heart, and skeleton from 4 different angles fully colorized. How cool is that!
I also included some of just the heart and kidneys on its own from the same scan.

Just found this Jesus candle in my mom's room. I think she thinks it's serious. Lol I'm done.
So my desktop has 32 CPUs and 64 gigs of memory, and 2x nvme 960 pro in RAID 1 configuration. Not to mention 4x Vega 64 water cooled frontier edition graphics card (for OpenCL work).
I'm not even sure I can call this thing a Desktop Computer anymore, its more like a low-end supercomputer. No matter what I throw at it it responds instantly. What a fucking beast!
A picture of an early prototype for my ROES SWR meter and VNC. I later had to completely redesign the hardware for version 1.0, but the UI is still pretty similar.
This week I hope to add a frequency counter to the design and work towards a v2.

An Advanced SWR meter I built about a month ago. It calculates phase shift so can compute a complex impedance and complex SWR, something most meters cant do. Schematics included.

After a couple of months without a new post I've started writing about simulating charge distributions, rather than just boundary value problems. I'll explain how #FEniCS can calculate the electrostatic fields of arbitrarily shaped charge densities, which are specified with mesh subdomains. These will have hard edges for now but I want to look into having more general charge distributions.
I've also run 3D simulations for calculating capacitances between arbitrarily shaped conductors and 2D linear dielectrics. I need to do some more testing & comparison with other FEA tools/ analytical methods before I publish any posts. Seems to be going well though!
