I feel like I might need to start a Freddy Krueger marathon sometime soon...
Man I wish more books, especially math books, were written in Tufte-style layout.. basically really wide margins (maybe as much as 1/3 the page) and all the figures and footnotes are in the margin.
One of the best things about being an American abroad is tipping, its so rare people treat you like a king.
My favroite were how the italians responded to it. I tipped my dive coordinator after a group SCUBA dive in Sardinia and they decided to use my tip to buy everyone beers. They insisted I drink one with them and hang out after the dive. They were a great bunch of fellows! Italians in general really are. I remember when Iw as lost once I was so desperate I had to knock on some random ladies door in the middle of nowhere to ask for help (I was stuck on some mountain side).. She invited me in, gave me something to drink and did her best to help me even though her english wasnt great.
I really miss Italy!
I think I want to refresh my Quantum Mechanics skills.I have a text book "The mathematics of Quantum Mechanics" that I am tempted to go over. Its been a few years since I did any QM seriously and I think I lost some of my understanding.

I attached some screenshots from the MUD (Aethyr) I linked above. all of these are actual in-game screenshots except the attacks one, that is a mockup of what im working on now.
None of this shows the ncurses windows, just the map and room description separately. I'll grab a snapshot of the whole game window later tonight to show you all.

WOOT! I just ordered some Pho for dinner! Havent had Pho since I got back to the USA. Shame they dont have it in the Netherlands.
Well, apparently, according to Biden when he isnt busy groping women without their permission on stage he is telling black people that if they dont unconditionally support them they arent black.
I also find it cringe worthy how Biden's body language changed to try to impersonate his view of "blackness" in some way. Its painful to watch.
Man Biden can't sink the ship fast enough it seems.
