#Foucault would agree with me that “the death of revolution” occurring in 1968 is the death of the dream of overthrowing the state to replace it with a socialist / communist one and simply lost a lot of many things during counterculture.

Foucault asserts that #individual subjectivity is constructed by the power relations themselves.

The power of what is ‘already there’ or already inside us is also useful from which what power acts upon but is not always totally needed to bring "best out of people". The relationship can almost 'create' it even from only 0.1% personal power or interest in something to become bigger from relationships...

Fediverse could be working on as more dedicated intimacy even of greater various shallow or deeper depths (to build our own trust and almost re-build ourselves from these ruins / broken cultures left over commercial / industrial / colonial ruins like lego as the individuals)

Ok I admit the #lego thing was a bit of a last thought to what was coming from the image of people 'recreating' and 'rebuilding' themselves. 🧱

➡️ 2- And #shortreading / #shortdepth is the cause of a lot of wrong moves (plays into point #1 with emotions because people are not looking further up ahead and reacting for the short stuff).

#Facts we cannot check ourselves are often are #arbitrary because it is by people's #opinions at #varied #quality.

Perhaps more #physical #evidence is much easier and believable but even AI can fake what evidence you can really think you 'see' but is not there at all (Deepfake videos, poor statistics, framing, narrative etc).

So the meaning of "arbitrary" in this context is what I'm focusing on to mean "someone's or a groups opinion" and therefore "arbitrary" if literally I don't have things in my hand and if I didn't go myself to count it PLUS can honestly and measurably question those 'fact"-ing

Seems harsh and I'm not saying "believe nothing" but imagine it's easy to tell a lie about anything from distance and people even inside the hierachy don't see what's actually going on. #Compartmentalization.

So a quick/bad example:
if an American group or agency tells me what's good for me / us and quote some numbers then I'm much less likely to believe *anything* from USA (again seems harsh but as quick example and certainly at least almost everything political modern times more than ever has just been bloat and exaggerated).

People with a bad reputation / manipulation / violence to everyone in #history I think cant repeat things so there's that too.

Long-story short :
it's all so calculated (and miscalculated) / controlled / conquered / manipulated etc...

It's hard not to have things so inaccurate today as people wouldn't write bad about themselves and toward more towards constant power and control.

ADDED to that is how one phrases and words the counting (even assuming it's right by numbers, how you say it is not always perfect or purely said).

this shouldn't be enough... if you really #appreciate in-person hugs and we need to #work on the #long way around to make sure it's #genuine when we're in person because #chatting makes sure we eventually practice more things and more certainly (not hopefully) that = strong people and in-person #strength = #hugs

And for those negative and not starting the people work, that's the problem not starting, as there is always risk and that is unavoidable unless you do 0 friendship work.
