The one thing I'd like people to realize about #LandValueTax as the #SingleTax is that while #LVT may not actually solve every single problem with human society, because it acts at the roots of society, rather than at the crown, it not only fixes the most fundamental injustices, there is no problem in society that LVT makes worse.

There is nothing to lose and everything to gain, so why wouldn't you be an advocate for it, unless you are an owner of monopoly power?

At the same time after accepting that I think it 'could' work both ways *if* working and living were provided as a good / healthy things or supported by a good / supportive 'system' which as a ' system ' is always going to be , and (so I'm not going to kid myself there).

So in people is in my mind at the moment for #2025... rather than hoping for any to take care of us and not just themselves.

⚫ I liked this post for "idiotboxes" because they do take up space and cause pollution and show Tech isn't really the way with stupid people - so we must invest in people and upgrade them slowly in mindset else always this will happen - even with people leaving Terabytes of data copies and duplications forgotten in places

1/ Good page - Suggest spacing main paragraphs and sections so it's not looking like it's 1 block almost. Putting a line space / carriage return between main points from anchored / TOC jump-list means people see clearly where one main point ends and the title of next point begins.

My #selfhosted apps have replaced most of my software subscriptions by now with a single home server, and the majority of my cloud VPSes with a single, $5 gateway server.

My Mastodon instance fulfills all my social media (primarily Twitter & Instagram).

Syncthing has replaced Dropbox.

@ente replaces Google Photos. I replaced Google Maps with OSM ( @organicmaps & Magic Earth) and never¹ looked back.

@wallabag let me ditch Pocket for a better, more personal, much more convenient alternative.

I still use Proton occasionally (for reliable email, and occasionally for VPN & docs/file sharing), but I self-host my main daily driver emails for a variety of my own domains.

¹: I wish there was a decent open Yelp/Foursquare/Swarm alternative, and Magic Earth doesn't have live traffic information for navigation in Estonia so occasionally I still have to rely on GMaps but it's actually a lot less I'd have expected so.

If you want writing, you recognize a few patterns and put those down. You can’t remember everything, nor should you. Forgetting is a gift.

Pattern recognition requires excluding most information, which at the time of exclusion becomes mere “noise”.

Just a little bit is the point. Just for today is the point."

#2025 #Paradoxes - Using dissatisfaction anger for good things 

Trying too much can be a mistake too but I'm full of these paradoxes...

I always try too much with people even though people prefer *thinking they know people* just because it's shallow-knowing type -

So use I my dissatisfaction in the lack of depth as a kind of a problem (in people also) as a kind of fuel for other things...

It's like knowing you'll be pissed off and people way behind in caring but not blaming everyone and knowing you'll be happy with non-perfect / imperfect ALL IS NOT PERFECT from the start (we have to know that from start and live with the crap).

This "kind-of" works well to fuel other boxes in my life (maybe not other people's life as I hope they might repair it themselves) as long as you're not the type to explode and simply increment what you can in other things...

People are also not flexible so year you can blame others and yourself... another kind of paradox...

➡️ Don't forget to continue your progress with others in 'fighting' (balancing) for logic or sympathy between you and others in more-mutual ways.

To benefit / increment things more personal to you and others and not just $tate job or $tate in the middle badly managing things (I hope you agree we can't wait for them to grow a heart or have sympathy for us).

Free Speech is under attack so allowing other people more personally to exist is important - otherwise people go toward instead and then quickly comes after that because it's just to 'cleanse' people of themselves which is clearly reducing their personality and making soldier or zombies.

These processes which are not caring go towards and falsely 'cleaning' people using the dirty work that is happening underneath and in the background like today all the while - another kind of happens to them and other people elsewhere.

Why? because this a more way - not restricting yOurself always. Free to and things... that's natural when ... we are not trying to .

Legal / Illegal vs Moral

When people try to keep out things and instead of heading towards and hearing them they are encouraging a of and since that is more profitable and extracting from people all their energy (without the care).
