#Mastodon Posts Backup Export+Import? #Job - #Fedihire

☑️ I want my Mastodon profile exported to a format I can read as a more standalone or more common standard (like a HTML / XML, book or perhaps Wordpress site, but simpler is more the idea or both / all these).

May take a bit of figuring out how to export to something more standalone but happy to pay even if I could do it myself... (an endless scroll would be good almost emulating Mastodon).

👎 Currently Mastodon has NOTHING you can export and import to...

(you are stuck on server you post on!)

So not even importing to itself will work... 👀

*Although* maybe a 'local' instance all to myself might mean I can run a 1 person profile and just copy my posts file over ?,,,
hmmm that would be ok too to have my posts as reference / non-public, but who knows?...)

Love seems not quite enough in many ways.

But manipulation and incentives seem also not great as a "means to an end" (in which the end is incrementing more love!)

Although I have been thinking of paying 💰 more people to do what they already like to do 🎢

Change for the better might not come from sterilised-design workplaces and state-sanctioned templates, with orders coming from the top.

'Work' as your medium can be surprisingly temporary when one day you are given leave or leave of your own accord (unhappiness, lack of change etc).

'Work' as your vehicle and medium for friendship can be often superficial, boxed in and limited in breaking the barriers of any sterilised-design workplaces and state-sanctioned templates of atmosphere.

Ironically the design for change, is not to change things.

Colleagues can be nice but not necessarily long-term or for the long-term. Sometimes when the job stops so does your friendship.

So I'm not saying: don't try - but do look for more purpose made or genuine friendship and spaces... and if not make space at home or wherever you can for some real talk!

#TLDR All of us probably have trauma from childhood, even simple stuff - but mainly we don't have places or people safe to open up to, and therefore are not dealing with it...

The Duality of Man as possible explanation of "Us" <--- the film but also meaning us in the usual sense also.

"Early on in Us, we see a little girl lost in a funhouse. The place is supposed to be themed after some sort of Native American culture. When she enters, she finds a mirror image of herself wandering around.

This scars her as a person, and when we catch up with her as an adult, we see that this trauma still shakes her to her core, though she tries to hide it.

This duality of a person, good and evil, is thematic of everything that follows in the movie. If we all have a double of ourselves, we bury deep in the tunnels, then what makes it come out? Can we say it's gone if we bury it? "

☀️This picture is really nice and breaks my heart at the same time (innocent kids doing simple things and yet we trap them 🐭❗later down the line)....

I wish parents would at least tell them before they are teens - because there is no other way and no use at 30/40 with their own kids perpetuating the things they never knew...

(and *I do look positively* and wouldn't want to say bad, but truth overwhelmingly prevails or should -and that is after a few years of this they become like us (unless you're quite happy with the world for the most part) trapped by the system and in the system that does the same thing to others (a soft #war though I apologise for mentioning war, but again it is extracting governments are interested in - only, otherwise they would ask me or the other kids what they think and act on it).

So parents also here no telling or living life somewhat... is why I write,.. picture is truly really nice and reminds me of friends - who may or may not be oblivious or even worse know and just say "for my family" or "I have to" not realising it's abuse in the end they are sent into...

I think this is why "child benefit" and governments pay people to have kids (almost as simple as that), it gets them new people to suck from much easier... and make it look like they are even helping kids... sure! Nothing but vampires til we die from exhaustion / stress! 🧛 ⚰️

Sincerely I hope your kid / kids in general make it. And not the bourgeoisie type either. 💌

I did consider if I'm being x,y,z (like jealous or something) but realistically we need to focus on the existing adults and more kids only delays this (though I'm not again, but people need to really consider improving others / not being distracted from points in this text) unless you make your work mainly involving improving people and involving all kids (adults) long-term...
