I know eh? It's fricken silly, the mob leaves en masse and it only seems to be those of a certain poltical persuasion. My motto when change like this happens, is always to wait until the smoke clears, to see what changes if any, happen. Mob mentality rules.

@barthalion
Well I'm sorry I didn't save it for you. :-/ It was a trojan and I didn't really find it unusual because some serious actors want to surveil people on TOR. If you think it's unlikely, then you're naive. I'm only surprised it hasn't happened more often!

@marathon0 Interesting, some errors in this png:

Hubzilla is also a blog based on wordpress (that are spread on the fediverse)
Networking should have be wrote (micro-)blogging instead
Lemmy is a specific case as an alternative to Reddit.
Dokieli and Olkiare missing here, they are for scholar publication/review.
Beside Matrix ejabberd (jabber/XMPP) has also fediverse bridge
Gancio is a calendar for events

Is there someone that would create a itch.io like Fediverse tool, now there are lot of gamedev ? Itch.io is more and more restrictive on log in and only allow Youtube video.

@barthalion
I downloaded a Tor version several years back from Flathub which some individual had uploaded. Damn thing had a trojan in it! Only found it by accident.

**Command Line Mastodon clients** (Linux)

For those like moi, who prefer to work in a terminal.
**Tut** (my preferred choice) github.com/RasmusLindroth/tut
**Toot** github.com/ihabunek/toot
Toot can be found in most distro's. HTH ;-)

@Clementulus @joshbrownneuro @Twitter

I usually block people with that in their icon list. It shows that they don't really understand the medium they're using. Whatever.

@nickcutin O I'm sorry I was answering your question about news (In another post of yours). You mean Social Media platforms? If so, I prefer reddit, am still on Twitter, great for news coverage and if you really want news from the source, Telegram is good.

@nickcutin Read my timeline. I post mostly about geopolitics, and am only interested in the truth (as in what's happening) as opposed to dogmatic opinion based on party allegance. ;-)

I don't have time to do it, but here is an appeal for from someone I know:

> wanted: Code review for Mindfulness at the computer
Hi all, the design is now finally complete for the application Mindfulness at the computer which i have been working on as a hobby project for a long time. I’d like to do a and could use help from people experienced with one or both of the following:

- , or applications in general (for review of frontend code)
Are you willing to help out, or do you know of any programmers who could be interested?

Tried watching 's new show about the last , especially because I like a number of the actors in it.

But they might as well just call it "Stereotypes: The Show".

It's *really* bad.

@joshbrownneuro Sure but it's meaningless. We're not the Birdsite!

@lavenderlens
Well, young birds are called fledgelings ... ;-) Don't know if that works though.

Meta: Bad Behavior

@LouisIngenthron

Ah, you mean the server Mastodon! The clients will still need to support that feature. So, ones mileage may vary.

@ceoln

@nickcutin

There is no such thing as a 'verified' account on the Federated ecosystem - your icon is meaningliess here.

> What's your other than ? Did you hear of new platform ready to be created now that a lot of people are quitting ?

Meta: Bad Behavior

@LouisIngenthron

What Mastodon client are you referring too? There are many ...

Meta: Bad Behavior

Phh, seeing people barging in from the birdsite and getting all edgy and snarky about the existing culture here is really annoying!

I could just block them all (and I still may); but is there a client that lets me automatically add a "CW: Jerk" to any post of theirs I happen across?

Modeling study using pandemic data from 152 countries

"Although the focus of this work is retrospective, considering the merits and consequences of a more equitable sharing of vaccine between nations, conclusions can be drawn about national and international policies going forward. The message for any emerging outbreak is clear: distributing vaccines across the globe proportional to need, rather than to wealth, will have beneficial effects for all."
