All #QOTO features on our Mastodon server are back up except for Math rendering. We fixed that in the beta instance and will be bringing it up on the main server sometime in the next 24 hours.

Some thoughts regarding Spinster, Gab and white supremacists. Anyone who is on twitter has likely encountered the argument that Spinster is promoting white supremacists because it is associated with Gab.

I've explained to several people that it is separate from Gab but that both networks are on the Fediverse (as are many other platforms). Still, I'm told that a failure to block Gab (as other platforms have done) is effectively confirming support for Gab and the views expressed there.

The more I thought about this claim, the more annoyed I got. If people have a problem with Gab's policies on free speech, why not take that up with Gab? Spinster has a clear policy on discriminatory posts against protected characteristics, and I'm confident MK and Alex (and any other moderators) would remove racist or white supremacist content.

Women are not responsible for the behaviour of (mostly) white men. It is not feminists job to tackle everything people are unhappy about. Take the issue up with Gab and stop trying to dismantle a feminist platform. Ta!

Shortly #QOTO will do a minor update to fix some of the CSS issues introduced int he latest update. Down time should be unnoticeable but just want to warn everyone just in case.
