@snow Yes, that is very nice, elegant and not eye straining. What I would like to use and see in more places.

A dark theme, as it's not Full Black (which can be hard) and not the sea wash of white we see in so many places.

I don't have TV service either,. and there's not much I miss. Documentaries, yes, and many good BBC programmes, but we can find them on demand, obtain local copies for safekeeping and watching at will.

Too much junk on TV indeed.

Aesthetically, I find the Dark Theme profiles much nicer and more pleasant, less eye straining than the light colour one. Maybe consider making a change on the default here at Qoto? Surprising (and in a nice way) by crackurbones mentioning M.S. already defaults to dark theme.

I took a look at your profile as seen by Pinafore client, while using the M.S. instance, and it showed all the info, I think.

@snow It is a little large, but not so bad -- as it encoded to a jpeg. Normally it seems to use a .PNG format to images dropped into the Toot Editor via copy/paste.

I download yours and recompressed with Riot plugin, 80% quality factor, and came to 239 KB.

I normally will process an image locally before using it on Mastodon, unless it's a quick screenshot or other one time use one (not to be seen by many people possibly).

@mngrif I wouldn't try that myself.
