Indeed -- it has been reported previously on the git site for the add on. Mastodon 3.2.x broke something on it. It's been a few months, but it's just that Qoto moved to that branch level now. :(

The Headers are displaying on the same size test -- an H1 should be larger than we see here.

Yes, that seems to be correct -- something specific to Browser or possibly the Theme in use.

I took a screenshot on MS Edge (Chromium based) and it displays things very nicely.

[Quick Testing a Hidden URL](artstation.com/zhangxii),

I use a Dark Theme, Widescreen from the Qoto settings default theme choices.

The MS Edge screenshot is from a generic user's view, not logged in so it's the default theme (the blaring white one, lol)

And a couple of minor things, formatting wise :

* in a **QUOTE block**, as seen in Pinafore, there was a Blank line introduced at the Beginning -- before the start of the Quote text.
* in a **Bulleted List**, the normally present blank line at the end on the list is suppressed (in mastodon web client), while it is displayed in Pinafore as expected.

Both of those can be seen in the screenshots above.

Two screenshots of the same post.

1. as seen in mastodon web client.
2. as rendered in Pinafore client.

**CODE** formatting works perfect.

The **Hidden URL** one not, and it's a pity as it cleans up the posts a lot. But I am sure you can add it in.

Thank you...

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I ented a Bulleted list with the asterisk, similar to your exemple in the post above, and:

* It displays properly formatted as a Bullet in the Pinafore client.
* BUT as an asterisk in the mastodon default web client (under Waterfox, FF family browser).

Hidded URLS are when we use something like :

`Visit the [Really Cool Page here](https://server.url/directory/webpage.html)`

(so here we test CODE block above).

Will attach a screenshot of this in a minute *showing what it displays like in mastodon web client.*

@digerat Hello, and welcome to Qoto.

Enjoy the network and all it has to offer. If you are new to using Mastodon, there's a good guide here: lifehacker.com/a-beginner-s-gu

We also have another new users guide, posted here : write.tedomum.net/rgx/suggesti

An official JoinMastodon.org "What is Mastodon ?" short video is here : youtu.be/IPSbNdBmWKE

Sorry but LaTeX is not my thing. No idea how to use it, although the output is pretty for Math work.

@Demosthenes That is a good question. I use web clients mostly -- Pinafore most of the time, running on a Browser window.

I do believe the excluded languages would be stored as a user preference, and the server would not send content to a client with that language.

But it's worth trying. I would also suggest looking for the Fedilab Lite version, at F-Droid.org, as it is lighter on resources use.

Good luck! :)

@freemo Ah, thank you, I have found them -- working the way down local posts. Well done!!

@dyedgrey That is generated by the Discourse Forum admin panel itself; we can vary the displayed period, but the graphs are all autogenerated by it.

@namwen @scots I have seen adding Relays as a helpful thing to do in this situation.

@zleap @freemo Yes, I see the same message, Error code 502.

Can't help you, Paul. Freemo has to kick the server's but it seems. 🧐

@zleap You have seen my Write.freely Users Guide post?

A translation from Ange's French original, and useful since there's so little documentation.
