Today I am grateful for #MarkDown language, which allows for amazing formatting of text, much simpler and faster to use than hml MarkUp.

While not strictly #Math related, it can be used for any posting and publishing purpose.

The only one that might be a bit iffy is the #1 - I think next year will be a very tense one, with the politics in US election building up to a deadly fight to the end.

And even then, what after? One candidate is not likely to accept defeat gracefully.

@chikara I have received two site notifications, not only to me but the entire Staff team here at Qoto. (I am not yet a member of staff, although have been nominated for a position).

I underrstand you want to make your point well, but to post a large message that is in regards to the whole instance admin and mod staff, and then pull it off - twice - is not a proper way to do it.

Please write a draft and post it.

Finding insteresting people to follow, there are a few different ways, a good start is doing what you did and posting a hello message when you join the system.

We have a lot of nice users here at Qoto, and there's many more out there. I would suggest you take a look at the guide above, and chat here to clarify any doubts, get extra suggestions.

I would add looking for a community to join, where you can visit and chat, like here. It's been pretty quiet today, people are out or doing work but it can be pretty lively at times.

I do use a penpal letter writing app that I find great for finding people with similar interests, we have nice conversations via letters.

It's called Slowly, and you can use on a mobile device (iOS or Android), or in a laptop via Slowly Web mode.
