@peterdrake Nice for doing some mathy stuff, horrible as a programming language though

Could advanced alien species rearrange the planets in their systems to leave a lasting message of their existence?!?

...yeah, actually...

@trinsec
Right. As far as most servers go on the fedivers we have one of the lowest insularity counts (low number of blocks).

Reason being most aervers either block heavily or are blocked heavily. Our middle of the road stance with moderate moderation gets us blocked only by aone of the more extremist servers wrt blocking.

Hi there.
I’m Paul and as you can tell I’m currently a who plays the Piob Mor , and a who owns and flies an in .
I have a wonderful partner @vgrayauthor who is also a to my four adult children and 10 grandchildren.
As a life-long learner I have dabbled in, or immersed myself in, the following:
(new discipline in this emerging field in 1966; mainframes were the marvels - IBM 7040, PDP-10)
(22 yr. career in Canada; during this time developed what we now call the )
(another 22 yr. consulting in the human / business side of ; Including the ; and the development of teamwork for results through ; coaching other business people)
Now
(starting as a teenager in a a long time ago)
(crew and owner of several small boats, and ; born on , so no surprise)
(, , , and now considering electric )
(over the years owned a Honda 350, Honda Shadow 750, and now a Honda CBF1000A)
(Electric Vehicles) (owner of a 2018 Tesla Model 3)
(have adopted 5 over the years)
(playing MacGyver for the above list; also since we live in a 170 yr. old house on a )

I like to ask questions. Don’t hesitate to stop me if I get annoying.
Will answer any questions with Don’t Know if I really don’t (i.e. not afraid to be clear about my ignorance)

Getting as much out of every minute as I can, so only opening my laptop when not otherwise busy.

@khird

I am currently working on trying to get a new version out that fixes this. Also trying to find someone I might be able to hire to work on the QOTO code base part time.

@peterdrake @trinsec

@khird I reinstated account stemfie3d provisionally after talking with them. We should keep an eye on them and see if they follow the rules. I let them know about our rules and they agreed to follow.

re: weird, city planning

@icedquinn@blob.catif you do it id like to aee it

re: weird, city planning

@icedquinn yes thats similar to how i originally used it where there were bounries that provided "resistance" and the nodes could only pass a boundary if the tension on the links were high enough to push it past the borders resistance. What your describing is a bit less complex (infinite border resistance) but similar in principle.

weird, city planning

@icedquinn This sounds like you might be hitting on the original intent of the algorithm. The algorithm was intended originally to distribute a process graph across a cluster of computers while producing minimal "bounce" across server boundaries. So unless I'm misunderstanding you it should work nicely.

@Shamar
Yes i havent. I started the provreas of updating thw code and thia is included in the new version. Might tale me a week or two to finish updating and testing the code but i at least started the process
