Just a little reminder of why the two party system is a fallacy and why you should vote third party tomorrow:

1) the chance of Biden-Trump being determined by a single vote is virtually impossible. There is a greater chance that a third party will win the election than there is of Biden and Trump being decided by one vote.

2) Because your vote wont actually determine the outcome of the election what you need to ask yourself is what vote will send the message you want for the future. You cant effect who will win but by bolstering the numbers of the party you think is ideologically the best you send the message for future elections that the party you support stands a chance. You are and always have been voting for future elections, not this one.. so the real vote is, do you wantt o perpetuate a two party system or do you want to see the two party system broken?

3) the primary parties will be on the ballot regardless. Third parties need to have a certain level of support to make the ballots at all. By voting third party you ensure that third parties show on the ballot in future elections and help drive change whereby we can push out the priamry parties from having a monopoly...

In short, there is no argument to support a two party system exists, there is no logical reason that your vote is more effective or does more good voting for a party based on its liklihood of winning. However not voting third party does do real measurable harm, even with just one vote.

If you care about america do the right thing, vote third party!

Never has a Meme summed up the american people so effectively as this one...

I feel like this is how the Raspberry Pi should have been packaged from day one, just built directly into a keyboard.

Holy shit y'all. A Raspberry Pi in a keyboard, $100, just add monitor. Waaaaaaaant. https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/raspberry-pi-400-the-70-deskto...

@freemo It's one of the ways of maintaining party status on the ballot here in Arizona. azleg.gov/ars/16/00804.htm

@freemo Many people can't see past the next election. Voting for a third-party candidate may "waste a vote" today, but it may be the difference between, for example, whether or not the party has ballot access four years from now.

Me when I finally decide its time to turn on the heat for the first time this year...

@freemo
Majority of people are stupid, hence why bad politicians always win.

Why would the chance of them winning hold any relevance to if i vote for them or not?

my fellow peers and are trying to solving this problem its an intro to c++
but the professsor chose this for lab 3
projecteuler.net/problem=10
so that is what i am working on this week if any math people are curious about the code i just posted it is the solution to tha almost its not done tho

So tomorrow I vote in the and honestly I can't decide who I'm going to vote for. I keep going back and forth, I've never been so conflicted at a presidential election...

## Nine things to consider when voting.

Here are nine things to consider about biden when trying to decide your vote:

1) biden started his career based on a lie about his education that surfaced only after he got into office, turns out he didnt go to schools he claimed to and was at the bottom of his class and didnt get the grades he claimed either

2) He also started his career opposing desegregation efforts. His first decade or so of his career was focused on keeping blacks and whites in separate schools under the claim he did not want to see white schools turned into a "jungle" by introducing black students (his choice of words).

3) He supported and took part in the murder of US citizens without due process, one of the biggest scandals of the Obama administration.. murder.. worse yet in one case it was a 16 year old boy and american citizen part of the drone murder scandals.

4) Kamala is a cop who has a horrific history of abusing blacks and minorities during her career.

5) Kama spearheaded and passed SESTA one of the worst abuses on women and sex workers to date

6) Has a clear case of rapidly progressing dementia. Trump does not, he is just a moron which isnt much better but at least it wont progress as it is with Biden.

7) Kama has an abusive record towards Trans men and women as well passing and supporting bills that deny trans their medication when in jail and leading to suicide and other trauma as a result.

8) Hell she even attacks parents where she supported sending parents to jail as a consequence for home schooling their own children.

9) Finally lets not forget what Biden said at his acceptance speech about wanting to force-drug the american population with a vaccine that hasn't been released yet and was rushed through all the normal FDA safety checks. He said he wanted to require vaccines certificates people would have to show if they are on the streets. We are literally talking about this guy supporting mass drugging on a population without their consent and at gun point.

I appreciate the promotion, and recommendations. The math has already been endorsed by a pair of mathematics journal editors. Its now presenting the findings to the at large community. Thanks again.

A really interesting one is the probability a pair of numbers not having a common factor as:

pi^2/6

A.k.a a pair of numbers being relatively prime.

It shows the persistence of the natural existence of the number pi (3.14...), in yet another natural artifact.

Hi @freemo

I saw you claiming that you prefer Trump to Biden for US president, which surprized me as I was under the impression that Trump is so bad for democratic & rule of law standards that no reasonable person valuing these things could support him. I also saw you point out some anti-Trump propaganda that was just factually wrong, so you seem to be knowledgeable in that matter. Since I am now wondering whether my views are just a result of such propaganda I was hoping you could verify some of the things that led me to my conclusions.

I am not a US citizen and this exercise is mostly for anti-propaganda calibration purposes for me. You seem to enjoy this kind of discussion, but I know that you are a busy man, so I won't assume a lack of response to have big significance. I will still be grateful for any you give.

Thread follows, ordered by a combination of severity and how sure I am of specific claims.

I have been saying for a while that we conscious users or techies should be first to adopt, and eager to promote within our personal and professional circles, ethical open frameworks to support services and apps via micro-payments (instead of via advertising and surveillance). We already had . Now we also have . These are steps in the right direction (although I don't like those all-or-nothing memberships, kind of walled gardens of their own — I would prefer truly open, federated systems).

## Looking for Math Help...

So met the guy who wrote this paper/post on a plane trip several years back where I was flying out on a business trip. I've done hundreds of them so they kinda all blend together and I didnt really remember who he was.

Anyway a few days ago he pops up into my emails, must be 4 years, maybe more, since the trip, and says he remembers me, apparently we talked some advanced math or something cause he knew I was the perfect guy to check out is NvNP math proof. Anyway, convinced him to come here and share it with all you guys, he could really use some feedback.

So yea, if you know any math or are just curious please check out @carlostomas 's paper attached as the quote/link on this post it would really help him out. I'll be taking a look when I get a chance soon as well.

Apparently I was slashdotted 2 days before that too. That was a huge deal in the 2000s.. I've been searching for my old email address and coming across all these old articles about me, man...

Just found this gem from the early days of the internet. this was one of the first times I was on international news before being on TV and the news became the norm for me. I literally went from being just in the local news from time to time to being the headline on every major news organization over the course of a week or two, something that lasted on and off the rest of my life. Needless to say to a 16/17 year old I was still coping with all this and you can kind of see it in how I respond to the questions that I didn't know what I was doing. This was only a few weeks before I bought my own house and moved out too.

Wow the memories, really takes me back to a point in my life that was a big changing point for me.

In case anyone's interested, I just posted a run-down of simple C/C++ test frameworks that'll build for real-mode DOS with Open Watcom C/C++ 1.9, plus preliminary research for how to do functional testing on a DOS program.
