Clearly I need to brush up on my number theory.. this was so much harder because the whole problem revolved around limiting solutions to integer values. Ultimately GCD was needed to make it an integer based solution, which I ultimately kinda knew, I knew I had to use GCD somewhere but took me a minute to realize where and put it into a final solution.... I feel like this took 10x longer than it would have a few years ago, just too long since i had to work with a GCD I guess or integer domain problems.

I love it when an algo finally clicks and i realize how to implement it... 3 pages later...
holy hell python doesnt even have a built in red-black tree implementation, just a hashmap style Dict... There is a third party implementation but the best one is something like 8 months since the last release and the repo only has 6 commits...
How do people even survive in #python?

Is Mastodon really decentralized and censorship resistant? what if amazon or any cloud provider decide to go after some or all the instances like it did with parler? i think a master piece is still missing like IPFS or STORJ on blockchain as decentralized storage filesystem, i think also that we should look at some early decentralized application like emails and learn from the mistake's that allowed Google as gmail and MS as hotmail and yahoo to takeover by implementing restriction on who is allowed and not to send emails, now day's even if you implement all the good practice ( domainkey, spf...) you'll still not be allowed to direct message to inbox unless the IP is warmed up for few month's or years or whitelisted explicitly. fighting spam should also be thought in a decentralized way.

Interesting fact of the day:
Islamic medicine was well ahead of its time when it came to the treatment of the mentally ill. the Quran demanded the those with mental illness be taken care of and treated kindly, this was reflected in how doctors of the time cared for the mentally ill and very much a departure from the attitudes of other cultures at the time where the mentally ill were demonized or quite literally treated as possessed.
Here is the specific quote from the quran translated to english:

My guess is they are gonna study local tide changes and release a paper specific to UK. Tides are complex and vary worldwide. Hence maybe they want to narrow down the research to avoid any overarching claims on global tides, and keep it specific to their AOI.
