Anyone know of any federated servers for sharing photography? Specifically a standard federation protocol (like ActivityPub or OStatus). I know there is MediaGoblin but it only works with other MediaGoblin instances.
So I'm going to setup a PeerTube and a NextCloud for my instance. Going to try out Plume too though I wont guarantee that one stays online (so use at your own risk).
Any suggestions for other ActivityPub or OStatus based servers?
Anyne know if it is possible to follow a #nextcloud account from Mastodon? They both speak ActivityPub so should be possible right? @Gargron

Just installed #MediaGoblin written by @cwebber@octodon.social
I have a question. so Mastodon and MedialGoblin both use ActivityPub, so can they interact? What are some ways they can interact with each other?
I was thinking there would be a way to subscribe to a user on MediaGoblin from Mastodon and see their new media uploads directly in my stream. But that doesnt seem to be the case, if so, anyone know how?

So I setup a koken instance and am in the process of setting up a MediaGoblin instance now. Anyone out there use either of these and have any opinions? Or even opinions as to other media sharing services.
We, like everything, are resistors, inductors, and capacitors. If we werent capacitors then capacitive touch screens wouldn't work.
I attended a talk at a nursing convention on how to make LGBT+ feel comfortable. This was on one of the pages and I started giggling. Enough with the letters, a + is more than OK.
I'd have to agree, unless it is intended to mock a person for their race, which this is not, then it is perfectly acceptable.
