Does anyone here want a .monster domain?
linux.monster is currently owned by me for another 13 days, but I do not want it anymore.
If someone are interested in snagging it, I can send you the auth code.

It costs 15-16 USD / Year

I must say, my early life crisis has transitioned quite nicely into a midlife crisis. Very pleased with that :)

Update: I misread some of the data when I posted this a bit sleep deprived. The 2 trillion figure is not taxes avoided but the value of the untaxed trade itself.

I decided that I am going to randomly start addressing people as human, but only once in a while, then pretend it was a mistake if anyone says anything.

"How are you doing today human?"
"What!?"
"I asked how you are doing?"
"Did you call me human?"
"Did I? That's weird!"

So apparently one of my buddies is trying to train a Neural Network to identify if someone is asian or not from a photo of their feet...

Dude has got some serious problems...

Will be interesting to read the paper in the Science journal though, that's for sure :)

Am I the only one who loves the smell of iodine... its my favorite!

Interesting fact of the day:

In the USA current estimates have the total Tax Avoidance of the top 1% wealthy at 500 million per year collectively or 5 trillion per decade.

By comparison the total tax avoidance of all the middle class and poor who work under the table totals about 2 trillion per year, four times more.

Remind me again how the rich avoiding taxes are the main problem?

Apparently the Democrat voters have gotten so brain dead they actually think Trump said the Coronavirus is a hoax. Literally about 15 seconds on snopes would have debunked that one for you, yet somehow they are so used to buying the manipulative lies flying around they dont even question it and you hear them repeating this nonsense.

Americans really are unbearable in large doses.

In the days of uncertainty and fear, please share something that made your day today :))

I'll go first: I got to be home with my family after 10 weeks of school.

@igeljaeger

I disagree. Free speech by definition only protects one's expression of opinion. It does not, however, protect how you express that opinion, nor does it protect non-opinion assertions.

For example it does not protect lies.

It does not protect hate speech

It does not protect calls to action

It does not protect inciting violence.

I hope everyone is doing well. If your job gave you the ability to work from home, use this as an opportunity to show them how much more productive you can be without having to come into an office. Don't prove their fears that people they can't see aren't working. Silver lining might be more remote working positions... :)

The pandemic paradox

Should we manage to contain, people will say „all of these measures were bullshit. It worked. Why all of this?“

If we fail they‘ll say „Nobody could have planned for that and it all failed anyway!“

You cannot win support. You just have to do it. #COVID19
