I made a robot that runs on physics, moving only through the application of force and torque. It's a bit top-heavy and wobbly when its turret is deployed though. Maybe I need to add training wheels...

Understood, but my point stands: you are both more invested in this and have a thicker skin than myself; I trust you to weigh the alternatives and do what you believe is right. Anyone who doesn't (myself included) - well, they have lots of other options. I figure if you reach instance-blocking mode, they probably deserve it.

Well the number of trolling hate based instances has just got too overwhelming for #QOTO to rely entierly on its users to suspend at this point. That said i dont want to force blocks on our user.
I am prioritizing sone sort of opt-out block system where we as admins can do server wide blocks but users can still opt out...

@freemo I have no problem with servers defedding Threads, it seems like a good move for some. I don’t like the “we’ll defed you for not defedding” movement, it’s coercive and against the strengths of federation.

In Italy, from 1995 to now, there is Platinette (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauro_Coruzzi), who is a drag queen appearing frequently on TV as host, and conducting his radio programs daily. He is very smart, provocative and sometime fun. He is very famous and well respected. He can do very serious and analytical discussions, or he can surprise you, telling something "out of the box". Probably being a man, with female aspects help him in being original.
All children of Italy of many generations know him, but I can assume that the damage he has done to them are zero.
When he speaks, you listen him, because he has charisma. You never think that he is a "psychotic sex freaks".

@freemo the difference is from technological advances in metallurgy and the change from black powder to modern smokeless powders
Modern ammunition designs just don't need anywhere near the same amount of case capacity to generate the same amount (or more) energy.
The .38 vs 9mm is a good example as they have roughly the same diameter bullet but the 9mm has almost ~30% more energy despite being ~30% shorter overall.

For the revolver .45, Colt's original name was ".45 Colt". However, since other revolver calibers had "Long" in the name, users of the cartridge called it ".45 Long Colt" and basically overcame factory's opinion. In part it helped to disambiguate it from .45 ACP.
There's no point in knowing any of this.

Has anyone experienced it on #QOTO? Its the second time @ClaraListensprechen4 had this happen but I'm trying to figure out if its specific to them or a general problem.
