#Banks #Money #Power #Profit #Devaluing #People

Every hour ⏲️ you have money is in a bank it's going towards being re-loaned to someone else which your money everyone's in the money supply (because it's money as soon as they re-loan). The small interest 5% they _might)_ give is nothing compared to what they out and get from . (%'s = $$$$$%'s)

When bank loans the money you keep there and gives a loan out to someone else (for more than what you gives them like 5-10 times your account) then they cause everyone's
in accounts to drop. 📉📉📉

This is the real power base (inequality) used by every country to undermine it's people.

Isn't it odd all these countries having same problems use the same ?

towards love / better communication not devaluing 🏦 money...

* Enough Computers ? More Human Contact ! *

The Linux Playstation People

It's regression when generations of heads are down coding, unable to do longer talks any more. They start to operate like limited computers more than caring people.

Humanity and it's real talk is the real reason why HUMAN PROGRESS does or does not happen. I know it's hard to see that as computers not fulfilling your goals but now more than ever we need real people and although things are relative to work etc but really when people are doing near-0 humanity all-the-while then there is no excuse (for not listening, improving people's way of talking, humanly able to chat and negotiate conversation, level up you're own thinking etc)

If only computers improve and NOT HUMANS or nothing much at the end of your work, then you're the one I mean.

Picture Text:
"But mum I'm not just playing games (Linux) wasting time - and not my fault human contact isn't getting better ".

Dying without giving an audience to other people I guess is actually a bad thing because

☑️ doesn't test yourself and test your work WITH people (just a static doc on disc is no good!)

☑️ we are not being heard for many things (which governments are making sure of on everything).

☑️ We could do it more often in more private or public ways! (people choose)

⌚22.27 In contrast, small-scale has it's own economies.

⌚23.19 Re-discovering citizenship.

⌚24.21 Local people, who care for local people.

⌚25.03 Large-scale state dazzled by it's good intentions, saw itself as provider.

⌚25.14 Economic competitiveness usurped other standards.

While democracy has advanced, the part we ordinary citizens have played in the making and sustaining of the places and communities we live in, has diminished.

⭐ Never has so much been decided for so many by so few.

⌚26.02 Presence is beautiful. It is friendship, it is our being. It is what life is for.

Absence make things difficult... especially when there is no-one at home.

⌚26.56 The price charged by Fred for his goods will hold only so long as the price charged by Dan for the same goods, in the same place, is no lower. If it is (lower), Fred will need to reduce his prices or else go out of business.

⌚27.37 What distinguishes them (producers) is how good thy are at doing it (selling)...

Everyone else is doing so and anyone who does not is quickly priced out of business.

In the future it will not be like that.

⌚29.23 How can a community, despite all this, be mistress of it's own fate in this sense?

How can it... have the freedom to make enlightened decision and make them stick?

(1 answer) Villages... not based on price... built around a complex culture of arrangements, obligations, loyalties, collaborations which express the nature and priorities of the community and the network of relationships and reciprocities between it's members.

⭐ Examples: House-holds, friends, neighbours, cricket teams, magistrates, parent-teacher association, allotment holders.

This is the non-monetary informal economy. The central core that enables our society to exist.

⌚31.06 Sheer naked loyalties and family values can only go so far.

There needs to be something interesting connecting too. Something to talk about, cooperate in, mull over, to aim for, to laugh at.

Something to coordinate and do together.

⌚31.27 A culture is like the upright strands that you begin with in basket-making, round which you wind the texture of the basket yourself. No sticks, no basket. No culture, no community.

It is both the parent and child of social capital... The social life...

The links of cooperation and friendship...

⌚32.00 It is the good faith and civility... that make a living community. The cooperation that build it's institutions. It is the social ecosystem in which a culture lives.

⌚32.16 Adam Smith observed that people are willing to carry out almost any service for each other despite being motivated by nothing more than commercial self-interest.

It has seemed to be unnecessary... for such high emotives as benevolence.

⌚33.45 In the mature settlements that could follow however, the tyranny of decisions being made in lock step with competitive pricing with be an ancient memory.

There will be time for music.

⌚33.58 Well, the answer to that ... You, the listener, are invited to explore ideas from more than 1 point of view. Follow up the references to build you own familiarity with the key concepts in your own way.

You are invited to participate in a story. A story about the shared experience, of something discovered, something discussed. Something done.

⭐ "Surviving The Future" is a book about inventive, cooperative, self-reliance.

Inheriting and inventing families of enabling principles such as; the rules of chess, the instruments in music, or the grammar of language, we can construct things with more confidence and ambition than we could if we have to invent everything from first principles.

⌚35.34 ...really what I think the radio station and beyond is in support of is how do we make sure those upright strands are there so that we can weave together a real community, a real neighbourhood a real culture.

⌚36.18 Who doesn't want to live in a society like that, that puts emphasis on what he calls the non-monetary central economy - it's not about how much you make, but about the interactions and the relationships you have in a community.

⌚36.41 Relationship is paramount. We are nothing if we are not in relationship.

⭐ Abstract without the particular creates the demonic.

So in other words if you can create an abstraction, which is what our system has done so well; other people, putting a price on everything, food from the grocery store- it's all an and if we aren't in relationship, in the particular, you can do terrible things.

⌚37.14 Yeah and as he [Shaun] note's... "How can so few influence so many?" (answer is the abstraction that loses touch with reality in how things are made etc).

⌚37.29 Intention of community - if the community has intention, then it is not helpless. If this is how we wish to live, then we can make it so...

⌚37.42 Phrase "If you don't use your imagination someone else will."

⭐ And I think that's what's happened, where our imagination has been co-opted

Love / Care in Climate Change messages...

Caring for kids and communities seems to work as topics to talk about, and goes across all countries, generations, genders, political ideologies.

More than any number or money in the middle between us, talking about more-human things is well. much more human. Other things can make us more angry or bitter because they are much less human or even self-sabotage (like money between us - inflation, false valuation, things just bought, rented and sold- as property not really cared for).

Love as a better framing for change?...

If Love is such an clearly outstanding frame with which to proceed, then do you have a theory about why we don't see it being used more?

Why don't we see Love used
more as a frame?
====================

My first sniper instinct says "People care more for profit than people or environment, that's why" which is highly true or indisputable.

Love is maybe not used in a y intellectual sectors like , , and the related bubbles.

are trusted to some extent (but also people over-bombarded) but are also often dispassionate with too much information unrelated to almost anyone.

Baking it into policy is perhaps near impossible and politicians just use it to sell themselves into their next career... rather than anyone ever implement an industry that relies on "this is how it is now" and will be forever if they want to keep power and profit as maximised as possible.

#Capitalism is... ? (Many things or one thing?)

is... (many things according to many comments below)

From comments on video:

(there is something about this word and it's evolution that is terribly circular but nuances worth mapping out)

💬 Capitalism is excess of wealth, resources, power that's used to make more capital.

💬 Capitalism also has nothing do with volunteering, willfully making choices...

💬 Through capital gains governments/gangs/armies arise which will enforce that groups rule.

💬 Authority arises from accumulation of power which authorities intent is to remove threat to itself, all competition and opposition to itself.

💬 This is heart of capitalism is to remove competition and free trade.. not facilitate its continuation.

💬 When one has produced more than one has need of, and saves the surplus, or exchanges the surplus for something else, one has capitalism.

💬 When one gives what one has produced to another voluntarily, one has charity.

💬 When one has what one has produced taken involuntarily (be it surplus or not) one has experienced theft.

💬 Should one argue against capitalism, that one either argues for charity or for theft.

💬 Capitalism isn't about regulation, it's about investment and return, and may be free or encumbered by legislation.

@damiendeecee you don't understand how feudalism created the conditions for capitalistic profit.
feudalism FORCEFULLY created a master servant system with an ARTIFICIALLY large "working class"
the key point is LARGE working class at the bottom.

all human competence shows a bell curve, few at the top and bottom with the majority in the MIDDLE. feudalism created the classic /\ pyramid hierarchy with a LARGER class at the bottom, ARTIFICIALLY as I just explained.
- @Fuji_62

As long as a single group doesn't determine the currency and it's characteristics, capitalism is generally awesome.
- @jasonshults368

Without free banking, a money monopoly will exist, will tax, will destroy the economy. Free banking requires a free country, i.e., no statism (authoritarianism). That exists nowhere.
- @1voluntaryist

[ithadtobesaid on youtube] He is saying that it isnt normal to work long hours and that this is the result of violence and that the rich stole all the resources and have all the money and we have to go work for them our entire life go get money from them. And he is saying that in anarchy noone would use money, people wouldnt trade but own everything commonly, in the same way that grass is available for all deer, i guess. What do you think?
- @cxtxlin_cx

=========================
DEFINITIONS THAT SEEM OK BUT...

💬 Just have a look at the dictionary definition of capitalism. It's simple: private ownership of the means of production.
Larken uses the universal definition.
- @damiendeecee

⚠️ MY COMMENT: Even the simplest version above seems to invoke more "What does X mean - so private ownership means more than just a piece of paper, it's inside a systems what has more and more rabbit holes than just "you own it" and that's it - it has taxes, rules, regulations, government ownership as some other entity above all this (Government registers all underneath it like a membership club allowing it certain "rights" it can do on it's behalf)
And then there is money and external banks which is loaning debt or "money" banks often don't have! (if Capitalism is without money and like someone said more words lots of object for another lots then OK it's A LOT EASIER if they also don't use money) but even Governments and banks working together are political (not just accumulation, but they choose who gets the money, often public money for private development and go on wars and escapades for all of it to circle back again (for conquering more places and people?).
This is the dirty-ness of all of it, not being sure how private and ownership exists without all this as it's hard to cut off global perspective or prospects and contracts by governments to do it's work for them. Money as debt and oppression / cheating it's people and then others... also can't be part of the equation if talking about neutrality of just owning.

Aaaaaaaanyway seems simple but then words often have mmmaaaaaaaany meanings....
