Yes I agree with most of what you said too and you can assumed that I knew, but at the same time the idea is more like you said "something to work on" to surprise ourself while mostly not expecting much but upgrade / try something from time to time with each other DIY / homemade style.
No matter what the quality - it's from me / you which is worth gold and it's on away from copyright stealing).

Actually my tempo was out / could have adjusting it but realised I was spending too much time so with right beat and tempo actually you were on point enough and yes can always redo it but I didn't even tweak much. There are also free instrumentals you can match which would give your lyrics a good boost like you meant to do it that way. Instrumentals are plenty with attribution / etc

Also as a kind of acceptance to make popular our own material and train the acceptance of "it's my own quick made" has it's own quality and respect:
- no expensive kit
- production team
- paying for studio time
⬆️ (fuck all that to some extent)

... while managing to pump out a final product at the end of an hour or two is quite it's own achievement that is fairly understandable for it's lyrics or whatever "save the world message" / autism world support etc / (whatever it is).

By populating homemade from time to time it's also making others think it's possible while not over-filling it - look at all this political and youtube.com/google links... but yours is a small video non-commercial...

I like that you had it temporary or on request too and sent it to me which ticks more boxes ☑️ for it to be personal or repost it so it comes up on timeline again. So many things might be invisibly good once you're comfortable in yourself.

@olives The reasons why people do this online is many but as usual part of same many things;

like learning, jousting / sparring, entertainment.... and frankly forced by society which has over time been sterilised very measurably;

less social centres, activities, less money into things, takeovers, privatisation, cuts, increased squeezing by jobs, irresponsible parents.....

So everyone has less time or dumps it all in one place... so easiest for kids(now adults) is to sit by a computer (still) ...which I admit was also escape for me and a lot of us.... (and I did all the BMX and boxing I could...)

Because many don't reply or don't FIND A WAY to reply to the many or even fans in real life or online - this is reflection where we're at in sharing and what is actually covered as more human stuff (even by maybe your normality or mine isn't quite it).

Like all this tech stuff doesn't help more human stuff necessarily - especially if it's the same narrow humans behind it -
Altogether there is almost nothing else to do but Capitalism or this kind of make-up-your-own-way stuff to learn or get attention again 100 things listed... it's a direct reflection of society that actually CAUSES a kind of fake "you can talk to me" but no really you can't - so almost in a cruel sarcasm even online is crap sometimes - I can see it with Aral and other good people, and others online where there's not much else... really good people you can't even reach or hang with without faux pa's or somehow to learn the ropes of socialising... honestly too many reasons but could be solved by more dedicated humanisms (comms as therapy, allowing jerks to learn, or just good with more good working their way DOWNwards through people) - but it's not in people even the best sometimes falter.

My life is my own test basically - you're a nobody to most people... they are mostly into tech NOT people... and I'm trying not to fuel taking of sides but many are head down on computers and not wanting imperfections of average good people... even 1 at a time..

A lot of positive people too here and there but can't talk, don't make time, not seeing the upgrading or evolving of brains isn't with tech solely and expecting people to come from various disparate places here and be nice?

People are the real work...

So answering or finding other ways...ok not always for bottom level or those obviously too harsh / dedicated at crap, but really you can see the good by looking at profile and more can be able to get out of our misery and be more multi-processor brains... or just apply more emotionally intelligence online... if we do it all a bit more together... develop a way (not just dev computers for corporations to scoop up)

Almost ask yourself the opposite to answer this:

"Why wouldn't someone do this" in quite a cold / distancing world?" and you can't find much reason outside or better examples of humans as it's systematic / not paid to care or do any better etc so at least heckling or racism etc fuels 'some' sort of expression...

MY SOLUTION?
My solution is about phasing it out if we all can be more human in many ways (i.e. tech / programming wont save us so don't pile all energy into that which is a time dump / another playstation).
