@bradley Sure but in practicality we don't tax them, they '' themselves (and as token gestures of )... so it's more they tax the lower bracket more than anything as the system of power itself... or maybe what ways do you imagine we could do it?

Politically it seems impossible as it's like asking them to remove themselves and system itself that got them there... (?)

Avoiding responsibility by Bad Management... Blame the machine... Human-Distancing using 'Efficiency'... 

@RTP Avoiding responsibility always seems to be the case for management level work and machines the lower echelon have to use.

They are installed not only a kind mechanical efficiency but a way of shirking human responsibility and work, care, etc as 'efficiency' itself ends up more than just great mechanical design but with things and components added to allow things like:
/ man-middle-man attacks (via embedded spy design / tech gateways), soft trojan horse, technological obfuscation, inhuman barriers (think of train stations) and increasing / conditions which you as individual can't question easily or find those responsible behind it.
(group level vs. individuals as usual)

Distancing humanity even more with AI (or leveraging other people behind AI) seems true.

With police doing things already mostly for money (as a job) it's manipulation and control always by those that politically above that govern them (even as managers and not politics but their will power) which are usually far from caring people, and often the self-legitimised opposites!

They might use every tool they can for a variety of reasons, more certainly towards the less caring 'efficient' and excessive data-collecting kind.

Debt and Inflation in society devalues us and our future... 

I always appreciate your word / worldly opinion @freemo so was wondering what you think about the statement?

I personally feel it quite heavily as a burden on me/us and a deliberate "mission impossible" for society to live up to it.

It seems more than just finding a way to or value and what actually became / was a way to actually money and numbers from a distance while people still hold what they things is the same amount, so as of sorts by diluting the whole supply by giving our more debt, and deliberately pressuring the lower brackets of people with the threat of leaving them behind from that (and other hikes / real estate etc) through money that buys less (including as a person and a skill) using the power by and controllers to / steer people too...

Do have anything I might have missed about that, as it seems quite a / brutal and for people to try live up to that or live in it, and more just a pressure / set by others to impose their will and increase continually keeping them down in in / ...

I can't say for sure but I noticed a few things:

cross platforms / new platforms have this often

and mostly it's people who use platforms only for broadcasting and don't manage accounts almost at all other than that.

The egg timer is showing the person on the other side needs to accept you follow request - but they mostly don't bother even on mastodon itself (they don't even reject my request or respond to DM's)

So I'd say this is a social problem or incomplete things from incomplete individual management by these people just using a system but not interacting with their fans or messages.

FlipboardUK just sounds like another big thing that wouldn't care / see worth for individual users messages and I have am following tons like that for software etc... but if it's suddenly a money or more urgent thing you might get their attention...

#QOTO error incorrect notifications for "edited a post" which hasn't been edited again since I looked / boosted it... 

errors still giving notification over and over for previous "edited a post" message (since about a month now) when it hasn't been edited again, and several for the same posts always come up per day, perhaps I've boosted previously.

So multiple times notified unnecessarily per day.

It's a wonder how it's the same everywhere and like a copy and paste to your / our existence to make money for others, and almost as excuse live for ourselves in the increasingly impossible and meaningless rules and skyrocketing costs for even less.

So even being given a can have mixed reasons... but biggest is the connection or bondage to taxation to service when older and more able to pay. Why else would cruel Governments elp pay for children with a more modern scheme than the older and not-so-long ago versions (like soldier 👢 enlistment or service) ✈️ 💥

Scale your workload to your capacity, which is defined by how much work you can pay for with dues and still have money left over to fund actions. Things like benefit concerts can help pay for the work too. But avoid growing your work faster than you can grow your org capacity to self-support—you aren't a charity!

2. I have no obligation to anything but myself
3. Someone else should subsidize me
4. Someone else should clean up the mess
